"August I don't know and I can't wait to you get off." I yelled over AJ's cries into the phone.

"Okay imma just meet y'all out there, call Jay."

"Okay." I hung up calling Jay. "I know I know." I picked AJ up, bouncing him.

"Hello?" Jay answered the phone groggy.

"I'm sorry."

"What's wrong?" She sound worried. "Why he crying like that?"

"I don't know, he's been grabbing his ear cry for the last hour. August don't get off until two more hours and-"

"Come get me, I'll be ready."

"Alright." We both hung up.

"He just start grabbing his ear?" The doctor checked his ears.

"Yes." I repeated for what felt like the hundredth time.

"Found the problem." The doctor shined the light into the right ear; which AJ was grabbing. "Looks like he has fluid in his ear." She clicked the light off.

"How?"

"Could be cause of a bath and the water got stuck, or sense he was recently just born, it could be fluid from the stomach."

"So why he just now complaining?" I was confused.

"It could have been bothering him but he just haven't react to it until now."

"Okay so what can we do?"

"I'm going to drain the fluid out and just but cotton in his ear for a week or two."

"Okay." I nodded.

"I'll be right back." The doctor walk out the room.

Seconds later August came in the room, looking tired.

"So wad's wrong?"

"He has fluid in his ears."

August gave me the same look I gave to the doctor.

"How?"

"I don't know." I shrugged, running my hand threw my hair.

"Lil' man gon be okay." August grabbed AJ's hand.

"I hope." I sighed. "How was yah first day?"
