Risk Taker

I woke up the next morning to see that I was alone in bed so I got up and saw that Emily was in the bathroom basically hugging the toilet. I knocked twice on the door and said "You ok babe?" She looked up and said "Yes. Other than this morning sickness I'm great." I walked up behind her rubbed her back then said "You wanna go get some breakfast?" She nodded in agreement so we stood up walked back into the bedroom to get dressed than we headed out. We walked down the hall towards the elevator and we ran into Kate and colby, we stopped greeted each other than Kate asked if we wanted to join them for breakfast.

I looked to Em and she said "I mean if you want to than I'm down." So I agreed than the four of us went to breakfast at the diner that was right across the street from the hotel so we didn't really have that far of a walk. Once we got there we sat down order our food than we all got to chatting, Emily and katelyn started talking about how they are going to exact revenge on Ashley Flair for making Kate miss the draft while colby and I were listening to make sure they didn't get to hyped up. They schemed back and forth for awhile till our food came and then we all just chowed down paid for our food than walked back to the hotel because we had a smackdown taping tonight and I wanted as much alone time as I could get before the show.

So once we got back to the hotel we parted ways and then I looked at my beautiful wife and said "Babe. I love you. But I need to tell you something so you won't freak out during the show tonight ok?" We sat down on the couch in the lobby and I told her that tonight would be the start of a feud between Allen and I leading up to mania." She replied "Ok? So what is the part you thought I was going to freak out about?" Then I told her that there is scene where I arrive to the show than Allen attacks me and shoves my head through a car window. She got up and said "Shane what the hell!" I grabbed her shoulders and said "Em listen, I'll be fine. I'm gonna have a black eye for awhile but other than that it's going to be ok?"

She sighed gave me a kiss than said "Promise?" I said "I promise." Than we got off the lobby couch and made our way up the room so we could relax before I had to leave for the show. We relaxed for awhile by ordering food and watching Netflix but soon enough it was time for me to head to the show, as I watched my beautiful sleep I slowly lifted her head from my lap and placed it gently on a pillow. I kissed her head and then made my way out the door, it was a long quite drive to the arena and all I could do was think, think about Emily the baby and all the risks that I am taking but this is what I needed to do for the business to make money to support my family.

But all those thoughts quickly vanished when the car stopped so I cleared my head, grabbed my duffle and stepped out of the car to be met by a very angry AJ Styles who beat the crap out of me. Then to top it all of sends my head through the car window because he didn't have a match at Mania but little did he know that his plans were about to change. After Dave came asked me if I was ok saw the blood coming down my face he called over the doc who then said I would need to go the hospital to get checked I didn't respond and Dave knew that my answer would be Hell No he told the doc to leave us and then said "You need to go." After a while of going back and forth I told Dave that I would go I just needed to say something, so we walked to the gorilla where I grabbed a mic walked out on stage and said "AJ Styles says he doesn't have an opponent for Wrestlemania, while he does now."

After that I decided to go the local hospital and get checked they gave me some stitches then said that I was going to have a black eye but that was the extent of the injuries. So after they gave me the go ahead I made my way back home to my beautiful wife.

Emily's POV: I woke up to see that Shane had left for the show. I wanted to go back to sleep but I was too worried about this whole segment with Allen, so to calm my nerves I decided to text me sister's boyfriend Colby. I said "Make sure Shane is okay. Thanks." It didn't take him long to reply but once he did he said "I will don't worry."

After that text exchange I locked my phone and decided to clear my thoughts by watching this new show on Netflix called the Night Shift. It was my Grey's Anatomy filler at the moment but on the D.L. its so good I forgot about Grey's, I binged watched what seemed to be a lot of freaking episodes so I paused did my business then saw the time 12:30 am. I said to myself Shane should of been home an hour ago then I texted him and said "Babe are you ok?" Luckily he replied but not with a text but by calling I picked up and said "What's going on?"

He replied "Nothing don't worry I just had to get checked out. I am on my way home now. Stop worrying." I sighed then replied "You scared the shit out of me." He apologized then told me that he would be home soon and that he loves me. I replied Love you too then we hung up, it calmed me down a lot hearing his voice so I walked back into the living room sat on the couch and watched my show until my man came home.
