Shane's P.O.V: After a long passion filled night of love making with my beautiful wife I decided to wake up and make us some breakfast you know has a thank you for everything she does and is doing for us and our child. I sat up on the edge of the bed took a deep breath got up went into the kitchen and made us a large English Breakfast (which consisted of bacon, eggs etc.) By the time I was done cooking it was about 9:30-10 a.m and I still haven't seen Em come out of the room so, me being the curious person I am I decided to go in to check on her and there she was in the bathroom throwing up. I looked down at her while she was crouched over the toilet with sympathetic eyes walked over to her because she was passed out so I decided to clean her up and then carried her to the bedroom and laid her down gently on the bed making sure I did not wake her up.
About an hour later I decided to check on Em and see how she was feeling because I knew this morning sickness was kicking her ass but when I walked into the bedroom she was already awake just chilling in the bed watching her one of her new favorite shows she likes to binge watch The Flash. She saw me walk in and when I did she had this ashamed look on her face like she did something wrong I was confused so I looked at her and asked "Honey whats wrong?" She then replied "I just feel ashamed because you saw me at my darkest today." I tilted my head and said "Emily Katherine Funk that is what marriage is my love it is the ups and the downs, the darkest moments and the lightest ones too. For better or worse always and forever ok? Don't forget that ever." After that little mini speech I gave to my beautiful wife I walked over to her and shared a long passionate kiss just as a little extra reminder that no matter what I am there for her always.
Once our mini make out session was over Emily looked at me and said "Babe? Did you happen to make food because I am starving." I chuckled and said "Well my beautiful wife you are in luck I just happened to make a breakfast feast would you like to join me?" Then I scooped her up out of bed and brought her into the kitchen and sat her in one of our dining room chairs and then got her plate to her and then we chowed down our delicious breakfast then once we were done eating we went over to the coach because Em and I had to discuss something important. We sat down but before I could say anything she looked at me and said "Shane what did you want to talk about?" I took both of my beautiful wifes hands then sat down and told her that AJ and I would be having a match at mania. But the downside was that after the war we would go through Allen would come out the victor, she laughed then replied "babe I could care less if you win or lose I will always love you."
After that she leaned in and kissed me ever so passionately about 10 seconds into the kiss we had to take a breath. When we pulled away I said "what was that for babe?" Then she just replied "That is to remind you that I will always love you." After she told me that I grabbed her face and told her that "I do. Means always and forever in my book." Once our lovey dovey session was over we cuddled up and watched a movie, while we were watching the movie Em sat up and asked "Babe? Have you thought of any baby names? Cause I thought of a few." I asked her "What are some of the names that you had my love?" After I asked her that I could see her eyes light up it made me smile knowing that the thought of our child the thing we created together brings her such joy.
While I was just staring into my wife's soul I saw that she was talking but she soon stopped when she realized that I was not paying attention. She waved her hand in front of my face and said "Earth to shane? Babe what are you thinking about?" I shook my head and said "Sorry babe I just love seeing your eyes light up when we talk about our baby." Then I leaned in and laid a passionate kiss on my wife's lips, then she started talking about baby names she has Sabrina and Elena for girls names and Elijah and Barney for boys names. I looked at Emily and said "Babe I love all those names. But what are you hoping for?" After I asked her that she looked at me for a second because she had to think but then she shrugged and said "If I'm being honest I hope it's a boy. When I was younger I always talked about having kids and I would always said that I hope my first kid would be a boy. Then after she was done explaining herself she looked at me and asked "What do you want our baby to be my love?"
In my mind I say "It doesn't matter to me because we created this thing growing inside you together and I will love it no matter what. But what I actually say is " Baby I am hoping for whatever you are hoping for." Then we share this long passionate kiss then said "I love you." But after that Emily realized that we have a doctors appointment tomorrow for her 12 week ultrasound so then we can talk to the doc about the gender and all of those specifics then because I know Emily wants to have a gender reveal themed baby shower.
After we were done talking about the baby shower and everything baby related under the sun we got up and walked into the bedroom and fell right to sleep excited to see what tomorrow brings.
