Fast forward through the obvious. The plane landed in New York and Markus followed with Montey to their next flight, He explained the whole way to their next gate how grueling the longer Europe flights were but at least they had beds. Montey was so out of it she felt like she was having tunnel vision. She couldn't focus and before she knew it she was at the gate and the man was asking for her ticket. She handed it over to the flight gate master and he frowned and tried to scan it again. Something was wrong and it created a knot in Montey's already nervous stomach.

"I am so sorry ma'am, this ticket somehow is expired." the man says giving back Montey's ticket to her and Montey looked at it in her open palm. How could this be she thought. Tickets expire? It all sounded unreal. If she couldn't get on the plane to Italy she was going to be stuck in New York.

"How can this be?" Markus asks as he cut in line to speak with the ticket man. His posture changed making him taller and making his chest puff out more creating his shirt to tighten showing his clearly muscular physique. The ticket man became overwhelmed by Markus's presence, Montey was too out of it to even notice the odd encounter. Markus and the man bickered back and forth for a moment while Montey tried to wrap around her weak mind how she was going to get to Italy. She looked up when she felt a strong jerk on her arm pulling her close to Markus.

"I will pay for this girls new ticket right now." Markus says and the man tried to argue but Markus gave the ticket man a very dark look. It sent chills down every spine who was looking. The erie quietness grew but Markus would not take no for an answer. Markus drug Montey to a counter near by and he demanded to see if there were more seats. In fact there was a few seats left over in the gold class of the plane and Markus laughed and pulled out his wallet and slammed down a credit card that looked shiner that his shined shoes.

"We will take both of the Gold class seats right now." Markus said, his accent even heavier as he was angry. Montey rubbed her eyes and smacked her cheeks waking herself up.

"Wait i can't have you do that for me! I have no way to pay you back for such expensive seats!" Montey says to Markus who looked down at Montey, practically a foot shorter than him and e patted the top of her head which made her feel like a child.

"You can pay me back in Rome by meeting with my sister. Until then let's get on the plane to our flight. The upgraded seats will suit us well for sleep." he says and took Montey's hand as they walked to the gate and passed everyone in line. No one would interject. Markus gave a final icy look to the ticket man who gulped down his soul so it would stay in his body.  Montey motioned to the man an apology with her lips and followed Markus has he forcefully walked to fast down the ramps to the plane.

Inside was glorious. the Gold section of the plane was like a hotel. Private rooms for sleep and a bar where people dressed in only the highest quality clothes were sitting and sipping wine that was probably more expensive that Montey's life.

"Now this is how you fly." Markus says and let go of Montey's hand letting it finally breathe. Montey was still to struck to say much but Markus grabbed her chin and rose her gaze up to his.

"Do not fret Montey, upgrading tickets is chump money to me amica mia. Relax.
he says and lets go of her chin and winks at her. He looked to the bar and loudly exclaims what sounded like a greeting to friends towards people at the bar, who returned the same enthusiasm. It was clear they all knew each other. Montey slumped over a bit and dragged her feet towards her private room. It was like the most beautiful tiny little room she had ever seen. Clean and white, just a bed and a tv. And boy was the bed comfortable as she crashed onto it.

"What the hell is going on?" she said to herself sprawled out on the bed. Who was Markus anyways? To afford 2 tickets of gold status like ti was nothing. Mixed with his presence and not to mention that he already knew those high class people at the bar. He had to be a millionaire. Or some sort of intense business man like a shark. Whatever he was he really saved Montey's butt getting her to Italy. And she had a feeling he was going to hold her to meeting his sister Vyles.

Montey passed out of mental exhaustion quickly she even missed the fact the plane took off.

Meanwhile Markus was at the bar drinking with his so called friends.

"That girl you dragged onto the plane Markus, a girlfriend?" one of the woman asked playing with her dangling high carrot diamond earrings while swirling her martini with the other hand. Her accent wasn't Italian but rather English. But like smooth wine it she rolled all her words rolled off the tongue with ease.

"Ha! Not a girl, you know I have no time for girls. No this is a little doe I met on my last flight. She caught my eye. Commoner girl. But she has spark." Markus says drinking down his beer.

"You do enjoy helping those less fortunate don't you Markus. However i heard rumor you're trying to lay low. Buying Gold class hardly seems like a place to lay low." the woman says sipping her martini carefully sucking it in between her teeth letting it spray on her tongue.  Markus laughed with joy at this comment and leaned closer to the woman.

"I am going back into the business." he says and her eyes grew wide just as her smile did.

"Welcome back." was all she said and they laughed together.
