--Hussain's POV--

"Okay, now you tell me what you need to," Esha said.

I told her that I had to get through finals and we will talk on the weekend. Nobody told me the weekend would ever show up this fast.

"So the two of us used to date," I said.

"I knew there was something," she said.

"Let me tell you exactly what happen," I said.

--flashback; 3rd person POV---

Hussain and Vaishali were perfect to each other. They cared about each other and knew that they would end up together someday.

However, when the new girl joined school Hussain's attention would stay on her more and Vaishali felt him drifting away. She started putting more into their relationship and he slowly stopped caring. He cared about the new girl.

It occurred to him that he was popular and the new girl was as well. He left Vaishali behind and became close friends with the new girl. They both hit it off well and starting dating each other.

He never cared for how Vaishali felt afterwards. It didn't effect him, because he only cared for his new girlfriend.

---Hussain's POV--

"So, as you can see, we were way over. Before we even became friends, I liked you and I still like you a lot," I said.

"I'm happy to know that she means nothing to you anymore," she said.

"She has stopped meaning anything to me forever ago," I said.

We were silent for a bit.

"I seriously want to apologize for the lie that I said. I was just jealous," she said.

"It's okay," I said.

"We will get married someday, right?"She asked and I nodded.
