Born This Way

Let me start by saying, that homophobic people get under my skin! People who say that being with the same gender is a sin, get under my skin! People who say you aren't born this way, that you choose, get under my freaking skin! People who say bisexual people are sluts because they like both men and women, get under my skin! And those who tell a girl, who's stuck in a boy's body, that she's not really stuck, she's just gay, get under my skin!

I'm sorry, but I didn't choose to be beat up in the girl's locker room because I 'stared at a my upperclassmans boobs too long' when um yeah, she wasn't my type. I don't do fake, I prefer 100% real, thank you very much. My friend wouldn't choose to get beaten up by his father, I don't think anyone would choose a life like that, where people hurt and hate them. We're all born the way we are, just like straight people are born straight.

Ugh, I just, no.

I don't disrespect anyone and their religion, a lot of my relatives are Christians, but when someone shoves their beliefs down my throat? That's when I get serious and respect flies out of the window. I can't stand when I'm happy because I'm so into this LGBT book I'm writing and that happiness fades away because of some of the comments I recieve. I'm going to type some of the comments out for you to see, though the account these were on, has long since been deleted.

Why're writing this crap? Aren't you aware that it's a sin? Maybe you should come to my church, we could take you down the path of our Lord Savior himself.

If you continue writing these things, you're going to hell.

You're an abomination!

You'll burn in hell for being such a sinner! Hell!

Burn in hell!

Sinner!

You should sit down and read the bible, it might help you choose the right path.

And those are only some examples. Do you see what I'm talking about? Why the respect I have for some people, just...goes away? It makes me sick, to log onto an account I love and have to delete it because the messages are pouring in faster than I can delete them.

That's what I did though and I hid under a rock, that is, until now. I'm back to writing and writing what I love writing best. LGBT genre books.

I'll probably do another rant dedicated to this subject in the future, but until then, what're your thoughts?
