CHAPTER THIRTY, WHOOP WHOOP! WHAT A MILESTONE!!

I can believe it took me 4 years to reach chapter thirty, whaaaat?! Regardless, I can't believe I actually reached it!! Thank you all for your never-ending support, I swear I couldn't have done it without you guys! <33

I HAVE A DISCLAIMER THOUGH: Chance only has one sister, but in this book I've realised that I keep changing her name for some reason. Sometimes it's Ivy, sometimes it Marla but it's actually supposed to be Maria! I'm so sorry bout that and I'm going to fix it asap. :)

Sooo enjooooy xx

Ps. Sorry for the super late update AGAIN. Somebody sue me!

T H I R T Y

I have to say that Maria's wedding was the most craziest wedding I had ever attended — in a totally good way, of course!

Chance and I were now each laying down on the two opposing long-seats of the bright-yellow limo, covered in cake and all sorts of fruits and laughing our heads off.

We didn't look like we came back from a wedding at all.

The rest of the evening was spent smashing each other will all different types of food and trashing the entire place while we're at it too. Maria and Ron were chucking food at each-other so intensely that it reminded me of the movie, 'Mr and Mrs Smith'.

You must be thinking — Whilst Maria and Ron were at a cute, romantic war, so was Chance and I! Well, sorry to burst your bubbles, but that didn't happen at all. I ended up running around, chucking food at random strangers whilst Chance stood around the food table, trying to protect as much good food as he possibly could. Oh and not to mention, eating them too.

People say that Chance and food are soulmates, but I think that's a total understatement. Never in my life had I seen such strong-as-steel passion like theirs.

Gradually, our laughter came to an end as we tilted our heads to stare at each other. Or maybe I had.

A smile made it's way onto my lips as my eyes bored into his gleaming, brown ones. He looked so peaceful and genuinely happy as he stared back at me, a smile slowly forming on his. I didn't even get the chance to tell him that I was in fact, leaving in four days, forever. I wasn't even sure how far away my grandparents lived too.

I sighed. How could I ever get over him?

Suddenly, Chance shot up from his laying position, inched closer towards the chauffeur's seat and whispered something to him. I raised a brow as the chauffeur looked back at him in the rear-view mirror and winked.

I gulped. Oh boy, please don't let wherever we're going be my last ever destination!

When Chance's eyes returned back to mine, I rose a brow. "Soo... Where are we going?"

He shrugged, a ghost of a smirk on his lips. "You'll see."

I narrowed my eyes suspiciously at him, having not a single clue of where he would take me.

When we arrived, what I saw was the most enchanting, mesmerising and purely beautiful place in the whole world. And to me, it was also the most familiar place of all.

It was my very little escape world.

Not being able to close my jaw, I started laughing as I twirled around the lake-side, searching for the main little area I always occupied whenever I would come here.

The spot was warm when I sat down on it and ran my fingers down the healthy and freshly-cut green grass. To me, It felt like the spot was truly warmed by the countless times I had sat on it, crying my eyes out or ranting whilst taking the advice of nature.
