The day had arrived and Kawaii~Chan didn't know what to think. She wore the bubble gum pink laced dress, it matched her hair. She curled her soft hair. Kawaii~Chan put on the highest high heels she could find. Two inches high.

From her father's house she could see the highschool. The blinding lights of vibrant colors. She frowned.

She walked. She walked to the school. Only a block away from her house, she stopped walking. Kawaii~Chan sighed, she walked home.

"Oh, why'd Kawaii~Chan bother?" She asked herself as she scurried home, on the painful heels.

Kawaii~Chan had nobody to go to the prom with. She had no one to go with. Not even friends. Her heart sank as she sat down at the stairs of her house. Gazing at the stars, she felt alone again. It was her junior year. And she could've been crowned prom princess. But she threw away her shot.

Curled up on the stairs, she purred to fall asleep. But all she thought of was the horror of being lonely.

She didn't cry. She felt too much pain to cry.

Huddled up in a ball of pain, a car pulled up in her driveway. She jerked up and started to shake.

There he was.

Zane Ro'meave.

She felt relief pour on her fragile body. The male ran up to her and panted.

"Are you okay?" He whispered. "Aphmau and Katelyn told me you weren't picking up on your phone. You didn't even go to prom."

That's right. She left her phone in her room.

"Oh, Zane~Kun," she sniffled,"Kawaii~Chan just does not have enough courage and happiness to go,"

"Happiness?" Zane asked. "Are you sad? You look like you are so ready to go to prom!"

"Kawaii~Chan just gave up last minute, Zane~Kun doesn't need to worry. Zane~Kun should go to the prom with his friends . . ." Kawaii~Chan looked up at him, and gave a fake smile.

"That's a bummer," He said sitting down besides her. "I don't have any,"

Kawaii~Chan gasped. "Then why'd you come and get me? You have a drivers license?"

"You don't need to get off topic, it's true,"

Silence was filled in the night sky. Two opposites sitting side by side.

"I like your dress,"

Kawaii~Chan glanced at Zane and giggled. Giggled more until she was a laughing stock. He didn't understand. But he laughed too.

"Kawaii~Chan likes your smile." She looked at his face, she gulped and saw he has a mask over his face. "Oh! Uhm.."

He truly laughed that time.

"Hey, lets just go to the dance and get away from everyone,"

She smiled.

"That would be nice."

And they did.
