Chapter 15

Enrique pov:

They all looked at me with clearly shocked expression at my words.
I shrugged at Julian who was glaring at me.

"I want her as my PA,and i dont like repeating my words" i said loudly stressing each word.

Jack was staring at me with anger and confusion clearly written all over his face.

Amelia was beyond horrified.Her face went pale and she was looking at everyone but me.

"Has no one heard what i just said?" i roared at the top of my voice,hitting the table with both my hands.

Jacks anger was replaced with fear and Amelia was looking at me,fear clearly written all over her face and her eyes brimmed with tears.

How beautiful she looked,even though she did not put any make up.Her long eye lashes were now wet with the blinking she has done to prevent the tears from escaping her eyes.

"But Mr.Monteiro,she has no experience in this work.Im afraid she will be of no use for your company" Jack said looking at me with straight face.

I smirked at his words. Is it so Jack! You're trying hard to save her from me.But i will not buy your reasons.

"It is as i said, Mr.Lancaster! She will either work for me,or she will have no where else to work" i said curtly.

"What do you mean she will have no where else to work? She will work for my company" Jack asked looking confused and offended at the same time.

I raised my brow at Jack and said slowly in a hoarse tone  "Do you think i will let her,Mr.Lancaster? I will take over your company within no time.I will take back my shares and your small company will be bankrupted in no time."

Jack glared at me but said nothing.Julian was looking at us quitely through out the discussion.

I looked at Amelia.Poor girl!! She was looking at me pleading with her eyes.Those beautiful eyes!! How i wish i could drown in them.

Shit!! What am i thinking!!

"I will work for you Mr.Monteiro" came her soft voice slowly.

Jack and Julian looked at her.Amelia looked towards Jack and slowly nodded her head.

I looked at Julian and smirked proudly.

"Very well then,You will be working as my PA from tomorrow and you will be living in the apartment provided by us to our staff" i said looking at her.

"Okay Mr.Monteiro" she replied looking at me and then at Jack.

"You may leave now" i said to her.

"She will not leave this place alone.She does'nt even know the way back home..my home" Jack said stressing the last two words intentionally with a smirk.

"Oh yes,she will! Julian,ask my driver to drop her at our company apartment now.And then ask one of our guards to bring whatever luggage that belongs to her from Jacks house and shift it to the apartment" i instructed Julian still looking at Jack who seemed to be furious now.

Julian walked towards Amelia and politely gestured her to walk with him.She looked at Jack nervously and said mumbled something.

"Its ok Babe!! I'll be fine.See you soon" jack replied intentionally loudly to whatever she mumbled,so that i can hear him.

She looked back at me before leaving with Julian.

As soon as she was out of sight,i turned towards Jack and spoke clenching my teeth "What the hell? Babe? Who do u think you are? Hold your bloody tongue Mr.Lancaster".

"Why does it bother you Mr.Monteiro" he replied looking at me directly in the eyes.

The audacity of this mann!!

"I'm not a very patient person,Mr.Lancaster.And you definitely dont want to mess with me" i said while silently taking the files belonging to his company which Amelia left here before leaving.

"Don't hurt her please" jacks voice came suddenly in a low whispher.

"What do you mean?" i asked him,curious to know why she meant so much to him and to know what was between them.

"I dont know why you want her to work for you.But please know that she is not like all other girls", he said in a low tone and then snapped at me, suddenly warning me in a high tone "And if you harm her in any way,just know that i care for her more than my company."

He cares for her more than his company?How the hell? Why?

I wanted to ask him this but stopped myself.

I signed the deal with Jack.I needed to know what was between them,so i tried not to lash out on Jack.

We discussed the official stuff for some time,which i was not at all interested now,as my mind was thinking constantly about her.

I did'nt expect her to be this brave to accept this job.Eventhough she seemed fragile,her eyes held an emotion deep within them.

What is it with her??Why is she staying with Jack? What happened to her that day when she came running to my house ? If she knew Jack by that time,why did she come running to my house? If she did'nt know him since long,then how can Jack care so much about her ?

I came out of my thoughts at Jacks words "Now that we are done,I'm leaving Mr.Monteiro" he said looking at me.

I stood up and shook hands with him.

Before leaving through the door,he turned towards me and called my name with a smirk on his face.

I raised my brows questioning him and his next words made my blood boil in anger "I hope you take good care of my girlfriend"
