Amelia pov:

What the hell did i just do!!

I agreed to work with him.I dont really know what came over me.But seeing him threaten Jack to cancel his deal,i could take no more.

I did'nt want Jack to lose something this important because of me.He had done so much to me.

She will be working for me as my PA.

The determination in his voice and coldness in his ice while saying this,made me cringe in fear.

But did he recognize me?? Why did he want me as his PA?

Moreover,he did'nt even want me to live with Jack.What was his problem with that?

Is he jealous?

Shit no! What am i thinking ! He won't even consider girls like me.He is the famous Enrique Monteiro.How can he feel anything for a girl like me,let alone jealousy.

Why was he being so protective?
Stupid! That's not protectiveness.Maybe he remembered everything.

Yes..That's it! Now he wants to take revenge on me.That is what he is doing.He ordered his friend julian to drop me at the companies staff apartment.I know no one here.He may do whatever he wants to.

I shivered at the thought.If only i was'nt so stupid to agree to work for him,maybe jack would have done anything.

I sat in silence as Julian drove me to the apartment.

"May i know your name" Julians voice came suddenly.

"I'm Amelia Wilson" i said giving him a slight smile.

Julian was also very handsome.But his eyes lacked the brightness of his green orbs.

No Amelia.You are not supposed to think of him.He is your boss now.

"I'm Julian" he said extending his free hand towards me with a playful smile.

I nervously shook his hand and returned his smile.

His smile was wide,reaching his eyes,but something was missing.Ofcourse,his smile was amazing,but not as good as his smile.

I mean,i have never looked at his smile,but i can say that.His smirk itself was so addictive.Imagine his smile!!

Not again!!! He is all over my mind.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Julian asked me suddenly making me jump.

I looked at him.He was looking at me,his head tilted towards me,as if expecting me to say something.

What? What is he asking? How can Enrique be my boyfriend.Did he know that i have been thinking about him?
Shit!! Shit!! Amelia...Trouble.

"I asked you a question" julian was now looking at me with an amused expression.

I opened my mouth to reply him and that was the most stupidest thing ever.

"What ?? No no!! How can Enrique Monteiro be my boyfriend?? No Mr.Julian. I can't be his girlfriend.I mean,he clearly does'nt want someone like me.But i don't know why he hired me.
I think that he was.."  i stopped my words in the middle as i heard Julian laughing loudly.

I glared at him as he said "So you were thinking about Enrique! Tsk tsk!! "

"What?? What do you mean?" i asked him confused.

"I asked you about jack and u replied about Enrique.That means you have been thinking about him when you zoned out before"  he said.

I immediately lowered my heas in embarassment.

Shit!! How can i be such a fool.Ofcourse,he asked about Jack.He would'nt ask about Enrique because he will be knowing all about him.Now i made a fool of myself.

"Wow,you look so cute when blushing" his comment made my cheeks redden more.

"I know what everyone talks about Enrique.But no,he chooses to show himself like that to the outer world.But inside,he is very good.Once you see through his layers of ego and arrogance,you can really understand what i mean" he said looking at the road.

"Did you two meet before?" his question took me in shock.

What should i tell him? That we met before? But he did'nt remember anything.But i should tell him whatever has happened.He seems to be a sensible one.And maybe it will be good for me to have someone to share this with.

I told him what all happened.From the night i went to his home for shelter to todays office talk.Everything.

"Whattt??You slapped him Ms.Wilson?" he asked his eyes widened.

I nodded at him.But wait! Why did he call me Ms.Wilson instead of Amelia? What was wrong suddenly?

Even strange!! His behaviour totally changed.He was'nt talking to me freely and was only driving.But he was looking at me from time to time.

I felt bored after a while and turned on the music player.

Tears flowed through my eyes as i heard the song.It was my moms favourite song.I always heard her humming this in the kitchen while working on the dishes.

She was a huge fan of twilight series.She loved the way Edward and Jacob had fought for Bella and even though Bella was with Edward,Jacob did everything he could do to protect her.

I could still hear Moms words.

"That is love,flower.You care for them even when you know you can't have them" she used to say.

No mom!! You were wrong.There is no love in this world.Your death is the proof.You loved dad with what all you had and what did he do?

"Why are you crying?" Julian asked me with a worried expression.

I ignored his words and looked out of the window.He stared at me for sometime and said "It's oky if you don't want to share it with me but please dont cry."

I wiped away my tears and shifted a little in my seat.

"We are here" he said and i looked at the apartment where we stopped.
