Chapter 25

Nicola's POV:
Ashton stayed the night yesterday but I have to go to school today. I keep skipping and if I spend anymore time at home I'll get into some serious trouble.
Anyway, this is our last week and I want to spend some actual time with all my friends in the one place.
Especially with Niall, because I don't know if he'll ever remember me and at the moment he has to spend time with me at school, but when it finishes, he might not want anything to do with me.
Ash was already up when I woke up and has kindly offered to drive me to school, which I of course accepted, considering it's snowing. Again. Sheesh.
After getting dressed, having a snack and shoving a beanie on my head, we dash outside and hop into the car, driving to school.
Ashton really wanted to walk me in but I kept telling him no because there are heaps of fangirls at this school.
He ended up pinning me to the chair and giving me this stupid dorky smile and puppy dog eyes that I couldn't resist so I said yes.
At the moment we're in the middle of a group of about thirty girls, all wanting to meet Ash. Ugh.
I send him a glare and he shrugs his shoulders innocently, flashing a smile at one of the girls.
Thalia ends up pushing her way through the crowd of girls to stand beside me, kind of freaking out over Ashton.
After checking the time, there's only two minutes until the bell goes so everyone walks off to their lockers or whatever.
We're at my locker now, so I don't have to go anywhere. I fold my arms and shake my head at Ashton, laughing a little.
"You are such an idiot."
"Maybe I wanted to meet fans," he answers, folding his arms as well and poking his tongue out at me.
With another glare at him, the bell goes and Thalia runs off. I sigh at the thought of actually having to do stuff but shake it off as Ashton pulls me into his arms.
"See you after school, yeah?"
"Yeah," I answer, pulling away and poking his nose. He scrunches up his face and pokes me back before smiling and leaving.
As I make my way to class, an overly energetic Zayn stops me by almost running into me and grabbing my shoulders.
He just stares at me excitedly with a grin plastered to his face before realising I have no idea what's going on and that he actually needs to explain things more so I get what he's so hyped up about.
"I have a girlfriend!"
"You what?!" I almost scream, eyes wide. "Since when?! Who?!"
He smirks and folds his arms before answering:
"Nina."
Nina's POV:
I don't know who I should tell first. Should I tell anyone? Oh my god.
TAKE THAT NICOLA, I TOLD YOU I COULD GET A BOYFRIEND BEFORE YOU! HA.
Wait.. She has kissed Niall.. And Liam.. And Zayn.. And.. Lol slut. Kidding, I love her. Anyways.. *straightens mental tie* *clears throat*
With a beaming smile on my face for almost the whole morning, lunch comes around in the blink of an eye, and that's when I finally decide I'm going to tell people. I make my way to where my friends are sitting, completely forgetting about actually eating anything.
Before I can even sit down beside Zayn, Nicola practically bowls me over by grabbing my shoulders and shakes me before looking into my eyes and screaming,
"YOU'RE DATING ZAYN?!"
"Yes, yes I am," I say, smile not disappearing from my face.
"Bitch, stole mah man!" She says, folding her arms and poking her tongue out at me.
"Hey, I was never 'your' man," Zayn chirps, pointing at me.
"Yeah you were," She says casually. "You just never knew it."

Luke's POV:
We've been sitting around writing songs for the album all day, yet it just doesn't feel the same without Ash. He was one of the best at thinking clever lyrics up.
We're just missing the last song for the bonus track, and we're struggling so much. We can't even think of a simple riff on the guitar to base it off.
"Any ideas?" I ask for about the tenth time in the last five minutes. All I get in return are shaking heads and sighs. "We seriously need something.."
I continue tapping my pencil on the table, a little impatient at the fact that I can't think of anything, and we've been sitting here struggling with this stupid song for literally three hours.
Nicola's POV:
"Hello, may I please talk to the head of management? Yes.. Yes.. No.. Yes.. Yes, thank you."
Ashton is sitting on my bed, staring at me hopefully. I've been trying to talk to this stupid guy for almost half an hour now, and they've only just put me through. Ugh, about time.
"Yeah, hi, you don't know who I am, but the boys do and I swear if you don't give Ash a second cha- No, you listen to m- Just come on.. He's a sweet boy, and he deserves all the chances in the world to prove to you he won't do something so stupid again. N- No, look, Ash and I promise you that if he's so mental as to skip a signing to look after me aga- Yes, it was m- You're missing the point. IF HE DOES SOMETHING SO STUPID AGAIN YOU CAN KICK HIM OUT, OH MY GOD!"
Ashton is holding back laughter as I practically scream at his boss. I'm just really, really impatient because he won't let me finish a freakin' sentence without interrupting and changing the subject. Sheesh.
"Seriously? W-Wow, um, thanks. Bye," I say, hanging up. I turn to look at Ash with a smirk on my face. "Guess who's back in the band?"
Ashton literally jumps off of the bed, tackles me to the ground and attacks me with hugs and kisses. Where the hell did this energy come from..?
"Thank you so much! You are the best! I love you so freakin' much!"
"Awe, Ash.. I know I'm the best.."

Calum's POV:
It's so boring without Ashton. We can't even write a decent song without him. Heck, we can't even write a song.
Suddenly the door swings open and an energetic looking Ashton runs in, holding a sheet of paper and the brightest smile I've ever seen.
"I'm back, and I have a song," He says, his face changing from a happy smile to a victorious smirk.

"This song is amazing, did you write it on your own?" Mikey asks, looking up from the sheet music Ashton brought us.
He nods, smile never leaving his face. Whatever changed management's mind must've smacked them across the head pretty damn hard, because it takes a lot to shift this guy.
After singing all the songs through a few times, we decide we like Ash's the best, and we sing it again.
