Imagine 7 (Baby pt 2)

A couple of hours went by since you first arrived at the hospital. The doctor would come in and tell you that it's not time yet.

You were so nervous that something would go wrong or already had.

Rafael had fallen asleep in the chair next to the bed. Your poor husband was so stressed & exhausted. He looked even more adorable when he was sleeping though.

Even though you really wanted to wake him up, you didn't want to disturb his much needed, peaceful sleep.

You decided it would be a good idea to take a nap as well but it was almost impossible to sleep when you were in so much pain.

Soon, your contractions started to come every 2 minutes. The baby was coming whether you were ready or not.

"Rafi!" You called out in pain while trying to reach for his hand.

"Hey, (Y/N) I'm right here don't worry." He said trying to reassure you that everything was going to be okay.

A couple minutes later, the doctor came in and told you that it was finally time to have the baby.

It was slightly hard for you to remember what happened in the delivery room. What you do remember though was how painful the whole delivery was.

"Push, push, push! Breathe! Keep breathing! You can do this! We're almost done!" Is what the doctor and nurses would yell out to you.

"C'mon baby, you can do it!" Rafi would tell you almost every 5 minutes.

He was so supportive & helpful through the whole pregnancy and birth. You could tell just from that, that he would be an amazing father.

Rafi told you that it only took you 30 minutes to deliver the baby. That shocked you the most because it felt like it took hours to finish the delivery.

When you finished delivering your daughter, it felt so surreal to hold her in in your arms.

You couldn't help but cry when you saw Rafael hold her for the first time.

"She looks just like you (Y/N)." Rafi said when he first saw her precious little face.

"Oh Catalina, you're just as beautiful as your mother." He said while slowly rocking her in his arms back and forth.

Catalina was the name you and Rafi agreed on.

It was originally Rafi's idea to name her Catalina, after his grandmother who passed away. You thought the name was beautiful so you couldn't help but agree to it.

--------------------------------Time skip to 3 months later---------------------------------------

You were laying on the couch with Catalina sound asleep on your chest. You were about to fall asleep too until Rafi came in and laid down next to you.

"What's up?" You asked turning a little to face him.

"Nothing, just wanted to come in here and spend some time with my 2 gorgeous girls." He said before giving you and Catalina kisses on the cheek.

Rafi then offered to take care of Cat for you so you could get some much needed sleep.

You stretched out on the couch even more and laid your head down on Rafael's lap.

"Now this is the perfect life." You said before finally falling asleep.
