"hyuna!" the chubby manager yelled from the opposite side of the small barber shop, her plump form quickly moving toward the counter where the red-headed hyuna was currently sitting. she quickly looked up from the small paper she had been sketching on for the past hour, startled, and smiled.

"yes, ahjumma?" the manager smiled, a sympathetic look across her pink-tinted cheeks. she looked extremely tired, dark circles under her brown eyes, her black hair lined with streaks of grey tied messily in a bun.

"i know it's a lot to ask, but-"

"yes, ahjumma. i will close the shop for you." hyuna replied, clicking her blue pen and tucking it behind her ear.

"oh, thanks. i know it's the third time this week, but things have been rather... busy at home." she said, tossing her coat over her shoulder and shutting off the employee's only room lights. she speed walked toward the door, and as she twisted the knob, turned back to the red-head.

"are you sure you won't mind?" she asked, her eyebrows knitting together with a worried expression.

"not at all! you go home!" hyuna smiled sweetly, gesturing for her to leave. she nodded and chuckled.

"thank you so much, hyuna. you're a lifesaver." she waved and left the store, letting the cool night air flood the room. she called for a taxi and quickly stepped in when the yellow taxi pulled up.

as she grabbed her purse and grew ready to leave the store, she gazed at her reflection in the mirror. her orange-red hair was left mostly flowing to her chest with a small bun at the top of her head. she had mocha brown eyes and tan skin. that night, she was dressed in a light, cream-colored jacket and a low cut white top.

almost as soon as her manager had left, a new customer entered. she heard the small jingle of the door behind her and happily sighed.

"sorry, sir, we're closed." she inquired upon hearing the loud footsteps.

"ah, yes. i'll pay you extra." hyuna's ears perked up as she heard this, and she smiled to herself while setting down her purse.

"alright." she replied, motioning for the man to sit down in the leather chair. "what would you like done?"

the man had dark hair and brown eyes. he positioned himself on the chair and sighed, looking at his chin in the mirror. "just a shave." he rubbed his hands against the stubble and hyuna nodded, pulling out the small box that contained razors and cream.

she leaned him back in the chair and squirted a glob of shaving cream on her hands, lathering the substance on his chin and upper neck. he sighed and gazed up at the ceiling.

"so, you new here?" he questions, picking at the hem of his jeans with a large hand. hyuna shakes her head wrinkles her eyebrows, using the razor to erase a line of cream.

"yes, actually. why?" the man smirks and closes his eyes as hyuna continues to shave the left side of his face.

"well, i've never really seen anyone hear as pretty as you." before hyuna can respond, the man rests his hand on the crook of her knee, sliding it slowly up her thigh.

hyuna gasps softly and drops the razor to the ground. as it clatters against the tile, the man stands up. as he steps forward, hyuna slowly steps backward, eventually colliding with the shelf of hair products behind her.

"back the fuck up." she says sternly, picking up the razor and pointing it at the man. he smirks and chuckles, stepping closer.

"come on, baby. don't be scared." he presses his body against hers, and before she can think clearly, she lurches the blade forward and into his lower stomach.

he groans with pain and collapses onto the floor, clutching the bleeding wound. she bends over, shocked at her own actions. hyuna does nothing but watch as the man chokes on his own warm blood, slowly bleeding out onto the checkered tiles beneath them.

she watches his eyes give way and roll back, revealing the whites of his orbs. hyuna begins to softly sob to herself as she panics. the red-head takes the towel from nearby and uses it to try and wipe up the blood-covered floor.

after a few minutes of scrubbing, she glances down and observes her hands, now stained with red that pooled from the man's chest. she groans and takes off her jacket in one swift movement, wiping it against the ground and trying to soak the blood to no avail.

she stands up and her eyes land once again on the dead body beneath her, crumpled and beaten, lying helplessly on the floor. she sighs, and as tears escape from her eyes, uncontrollable giggles escape from her mouth.

i'm crazy, she thought to herself. i'm actually fucking crazy.

she groaned and let out one last raspy laugh before shutting the lights to the store. she opens the door with a jingle and steps onto the sidewalk, cool spring air overwhelming her.

she continued down the sidewalk, having no idea where she was going to go, blood-covered and grief-stricken, the moon her only companion.
