Luhan's POV:
The only thought that stayed in mind the whole weekend was Seohyun's sudden interruption and questionable chat with Hana Jae. Although it seemed like Hana Jae was perfectly fine, I was honestly a bit worried. Seohyun participating in school work didn't seem like her. And we had never done 'immigration interviews' before, so I maintained the mentality that Seohyun was just digging for Hana's information to later on provoke her.
I tried to release those worrisome thoughts from my swelled head by spending more time with Hana Jae during the remains of the weekend. We visited her eomma and lounged in the studio, dancing and singing the night away on Saturday. And as of this sunny Sunday morning, we decided to take a trip to Byeonsan beach.
We both felt that isolating ourselves from reality and enjoying our time together was essential, so relaxing in the warm sand and cool waters was the way to go. Plus, I urged to see Hana Jae in a bathing suit. (Hey, I'm a guy; I'm allowed to think like that).
...
[at the beach]
Several minutes into relaxing on our towels, listening to the waves crash majestically onto the shore and feeling the breezy wind dance upon our skin, I became antsy. I wanted to splash around in the water a bit, so I got up, grabbed Hana's hand and started running toward the ocean.
"Yah Luhan! Whoa whoa! Ah ani! It's too cold!" she playfully refused.
"You have to get used to it."
She sighed with a smile on her face. "Okay. Let me take my romper off first." She jogged back to our spot and started to strip. Yeah, I wanted to see her in a bikini, but I had to resist and not seem like a pervert, so I looked away as she undressed.
I stepped closer to the water, where my calves sunk, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The shining sun illuminated the clear azure. The cushiony, brown sand massaged my feet at every step. And I felt the vibration of the whistling wind tickling my earlobes. Finally, a perfect day.
All of a sudden, I felt a light, but forceful push on my back, causing me to trip into the water. I, sitting on the underwater sand, looked up and found Hana Jae laughing. "Yah! Why'd you do that!?"
She slowly calmed down, and with a heart melting grin, she apologized. My tiny anger vanished as I stared at my stunning girlfriend intently. Her lengthy, jet-black hair followed the wind's motion, revealing her full flawless face. Her cute cheeks arose as her lips formed into a wider, mesmerizing smile, and her slender body was just..
"You're blushing?" she asked, wide-eyed. I touched my cheeks, and sure enough, they were steamy.
Although it was true, I denied it. "A-ani. I'm not blushing.. Now come on!" I then latched onto her hand and pulled her into the water with me. At first Hana was shocked, but she went with my persistence. We stood side by side, interlocking fingers, jumping over the pouncing waves, and just having a blast escaping from the monstrous reality.
...
As conclusion to our sandy date, we visited a nearby cafe and chatted while sipping some warm tea.
"Thank you for today. I had a lot of fun," Hana Jae grinned.
"I did too. But we have to go back to school tomorrow.. And deal with Seohyun," I groaned.
"She seems more, how do you say this, laid-back in a way. She wasn't very judgmental or anything during my interview, but then again, she could've cut me some slack out of pity."
"Are you still scared of her?"
"I wasn't very scared of her to begin with. She's just one of those long-lasting faults in life that will try to knock us down unless we prevent that from happening. Sure, she caused so much depression upon me before, but knowing that you're by my side lifts an immense amount of stress off of me," Hana Jae assured.
