Seohyun's POV:
Honestly, I didn't have a clue as to why I was walking around outside. I had a strange, particular feeling that I'd somehow run into Sehun. And what do you know, I did. However, the moment I came across his slender body and flawless face, I regretted stepping outside of my door. The fact that he was alone walking on the same road as I brought hope, which was immediately crushed when I found out he was actually meeting Hana Jae at the local couple cafe.
What was he doing with her? Again? Did he lose all feelings for me already? What about the recent time we spent together in the janitor's closet? Did that mean nothing?
After witnessing their encounter and getting my small heart crushed, I sprinted away as quickly as possible in an unknown route. Though I wandered around without any source of direction, I ended up at Luhan's house.
I frantically knocked on his door out of rage. Mrs. Lu opened it with a wide smile on her face. "Oh! Seohyun! What brings you here?" she greeted.
"Anneyong." I bowed. "I just wanted to see if Luhan was free to hangout right now?"
"Ah ye, I think his schedule is clear. It's actually been for a small while now that Hana Jae is not living with us. You know her, right? Luhan's girlfriend? Well I'm not sure if they're in a fight, but I haven't heard about her or seen them together recently." Mrs. Lu frowned. There was a short silence before, "Oh mianhae! I'll grab Luhan for you!"
She left me on the front porch with the door open while running upstairs into Luhan's room. "Lu, you have a visitor," I heard her say, "are you done with your homework? Did you practice your routine?" His response was unclear, but in a minute he was downstairs.
"Is it Se--oh my frick why is she here?" he asked, alarmed.
"Well nice to see you too," I remarked sarcastically.
"Be nice, Lu. Anyway have fun you two. I'll be napping, so see ya." His eomma went back upstairs.
Luhan sharply turned to me and glared. "What do you want?"
"Yah, don't be rude. I just wanted to ask how it feels being single. I knew Hana never loved you," I shot back with a chuckle.
"Wait what?"
"Uh, she's dating Sehun," I stated matter-of-factly.
"Okay obviously not. Look, if you're referring to 'Hana's secret', just sto--"
"Why did I just see them both walking into Sweet Heart Coffee Shop?" I smirked deviously.
Luhan scrunched his eyebrows and rolled his eyes. "They're going as friends. I already know about it, so calm down. Why do you care anyway?"
"I just want you to be safe," I reasoned. "You never know what may happen. Plus, Sweet Heart Coffee Shop is an exclusive cafe for couples."
"Not necessarily."
"Okay think what you want, but care to spy on them with me?" I really longed to know what kind of business they were up to, but I couldn't go alone. If I went out all by myself in broad daylight without any type of transportation, they'd catch me right away.
"What the hell?"
"Come on, it's not like you have anything better to do. And aren't you curious?" I persuaded.
"Actually I do have better things to do, and no because they're going as friends. How many times do I have to say it?" This guy just wouldn't budge. But no worries; I prepared a few plans just in case this'd happen.
