The moon was waking from its sleep. Ellie woke up on a tree her feet dangling from the trees limbs and her arms resting on her waist. Her eyes opened slowly and her vision was blurry and hazy from her many hours of sleeping. She looked around her hair whipping as she turned. She didn't know where she was and she didn't remember anything. She was a forest behind her and millions of small flashing lights of fireflies waking up from a sleep like Ellie. Ellie walked around and searched for any sign of people, or anything man made. She walked around ponds and small little rivers and trees.
"Hello? Anyone? Dad?" She asked the sky and air. Ellie couldn't care less but in a society like hers she is taught to never leave her parents, even if she wanted to.
"Dad?" She asked again. She started to get scared. She didn't want to get in trouble. She looked around only finding herself surrounded by the wilderness. She didn't bother to ask the sky for her father but questions.
"Sky, why am I here?" She semi-expected an answer from them and waited for awhile.
"Sky? Why don't you answer me?" She shrugged and walked around some more. Moons went by and she hadn't seen day. She laughed as she dangled her feet in the lake and talked to the squirrels and rabbits.
"Tamera and Cameron! Stop fighting you too!" She laughed as the two little bunnies fought over a berry. Once they separated she laughed a pulled out some berries from her coat pocket.
"Fine. One for you and one for you! Happy?" She smiled and had herself some berries herself.
"I'm tired. I'm gonna go to bed." She ran up her tree and fell asleep as the moon continued to shine.
