Chapter Five

Mikasa's POV

My heart stopped for a split second. His green grass eyes stared back at mine.

"Here let me help you up." He lend out his hand.

I quickly took it, and he pulled me up to my feet. "Are you o-"

"EREN!" I tackled him to the ground and hugged him tightly. "I missed you so much." I sobbed.

He chuckled and hugged me back "I missed you to Mikasa."

It felt so great having Eren with me again!

I havent seen him in so long! All that matters to me right now is him.

I let him out of my hug and helped him back up.

"So do you have anywhere to live?" He asked.

....

"Yeah I have a house two blocks from here." I answered pointing to a sidewalk.

"Great! I would love to see it." He smiled. I felt my cheeks turn red as he nodded.

We went back the way that I came talking to each other. "So you live in this city now?" Eren looked around at the tall buildings and houses.

"Yeah and its not just me."

He looked at me with excitement and confusion "Really who else?"

"Well there is Armin,Sasha,Christa,Annie,Marco,Ymir,The Levi Squad and more." I explained.

"Wow so looks like almost the whole gang is here." He grumbled.

I knew the reason why he was upset.

Reiner and Bertholdt arent here. They are lucky that they weren't either.

Eren would beat the crap out of them, just like he did to Annie. A long time ago.

"Eren." I said. He looked at me and smiled "What is it Mika?"

"Im..sorry this was all my fault.!" His smile faded and he sighed "None of this is your fault Mikasa."

"Yes it is..if I havent went with Jean in the alleyway, none of this would have happened.."

He got infront of me making both of us stop. "Listen here Mikasa, none of this was your fault. It was all mine. I should have followed you to where you were going instead of thinking that you wouldn't be in any danger."

Before I could say anything, he pulled me into a tight hug "I love you so much Mikasa."

I smiled and hugged him back "I love you to Eren."

We continued walking again. I pointed to where my house was and I swear I could here his jaw drop.

"How could you afford a house like this?" He asked me.

"Since there was nobody here, we all just picked houses!" I told him.

"Then why are there so many people?"

"Things change over a year Eren.."

I unlocked the door to my house and we walked inside. "Wow nice place you got here."

I told him to sit down at the table and he did. I grabbed some meat and started making cheeseburgers.

When I was done, I grabbed a plate and put it infront of him.

"Thanks Mikasa!" He ate the cheeseburger and stood up. "So where am I sleeping?" He asked.

Oh shoot...

I forgot..

"Follow me." I ran upstairs towards the guest room. "You can sleep here."

He walked inside an flopped down on the bed.

I walked into my own room and put on some random pajamas.

I slowly got into bed and turned off my light. "Goodnight Eren!" I called.

For the first time in one year, he responded.

"Goodnight Mikasa."
