Chapter 5: Phoenix Rising

---Joey's POV---

I didn't realize what I had said until she took my arm and lead the way to the dance floor. We weren't really dancing. We were just standing on the floor looking around anxiously. Wow, you can really taste the awkwardness in the air. I decided to break the ice. "So, you and Tyler know each other?"

"No. Well, yeah. I literally just met him thirty minutes ago. He's so damn cute. I really want to bake a cake with him in it. But that's illegal and it probably would turn out disgusting." she replied, smirking a little.

"Uh? What about me? You met me earlier today and I don't even get a 'damn cute'? Rude." I said, putting on a bitch face. I am the bitch face king. Ask anyone.

"But you aren't damn cute. You're like a kangaroo. You're freaking adorable, but you're big and tough at the same time so it makes you a tiny bit intimidating." 

"So, I'm intimidating? Wow, I thought we were friends. I didn't think I was scary. Way to hurt my feelings, Tam." Shoot. Was it okay to call her Tam? Did her friend only call her that?

"Calling me Tam, now? Are you trying to flirt with me, Joey?" she asked, smiling a little. 

"Nah. Y'know, I don't really go for rude people." I smirked, watching her expression fall. She began laughing, and I did too. I felt a warm hand grasp my shoulder. I turned around and saw Meghan. I smiled and her and we hugged. 

"Hey, Joey. A bunch of us are gonna ditch this place and go club hopping. Wanna come?" she asked. She flipped her bangs.

"Oh, of course!" I said, and turned back to Tamryn. She looked really uncomfortable. "Tamryn, you and Avery can come with us if you wan't. I'd hate to leave you guys here. Just as long as you're a good time!" Her face lit up. She went to go get Avery and Tyler, while me and Meghan rounded up the rest of the group. We met outside the convention center, getting noticed by some viewers. Once all of us were together, we started walking around town.

Usually we would call an Uber to drive us around. But since there's so many of us and the weather is actually nice for once, we decided to just walk around. I walked with Jim and Tanya, gossiping about the first day of VidCon. I really wanted this night to be awesome.

-----Tamryn's POV-----

We walked a few blocks from the convention center. Tyler told me that there's this fabulous street that has the best clubs and bars, and that me and him should totally get shitfaced tonight. He was practically already drunk. Caspar and Avery were walking side by side, having some sort of weird conversation I bet. Sawyer, Tyler and I were walking. I was in-between the both of them. I couldn't get the smell of alcohol out of my nose. I didn't know where Joey was.

Sawyer kept asking me what my favorite film was. I told him it was Silver Linings Playbook and he just said, "Wrong answer." I turned my head to Tyler and gave him a weird face. He started bursting out laughing and took me by the arm. "Tamryn, oh my gosh, I need to talk to you about a lot." He pulled me in close. "So," he started, "when's the wedding?" 

"What?" I asked him, squinting my eyes a little. 

"The wedding. When will you become Mrs. Tamryn Graceffa?" 

I laughed so hard I think I broke a blood vessel. Everyone looked around when they heard my pig squeal and continued with their conversations. I finally caught my breath.

"Tyler, are you serious? I just met him today. I don't even know him. You are fucking crazy." I replied, patting his quiff. 

"Hey, don't touchy the hair. I can see the way he looks at you. He's never that sassy to someone unless he likes them in a way. He's usually very distant to new people. You need to take advantage of this. This is special. I will set you two up and plan the wedding myself."

"Tyler, I really think that isn't going to work ou-" he put his finger to my lips and shushed me. "I'll take care of it, mommy." We both laughed and walked inside the first club.

sorry for the short chapter! i'm so tired and i have a lot of homework. i'll try to make the next one extra long for you guys. =P and if you're wondering what the chapter titles mean, they are the names of the lush bath bomb products. if you go to their website and look at the bath bombs, each name has a description. i kind of match the description to what's going on in that chapter. it's really stupid but i like it haha. make sure to vote and comment <3
