Luna Eclipse

First Day

Luna....Luna.....LUNA! My eyes opened very slowly wondering why my mother would wake me up this early on summer break. In fact.... why is my mother waking me up? My mother is a busy woman, she goes to work everyday at the same time everyday with my father. We have a family company that my parents are head of. They both want me to work for that stupid company when I'm older. (Anyways) I saw my mother with my phone in her hand, ( she was holding it very tightly,she looks mad) Luna! I have been trying to wake you up for five minutes! Get up i have no time! My mother said that very angerly. What's her deal? It's summer no need to rush! I say. Luna.... please tell me your kidding. It's the first day of school... the first day of high school! She says very shocked. I burst out laughing while she gives me a look like im insane. Good joke mom! Haha! Didn't know you were.... my smile went away and got replaced with a more serious face like my moms. Your... not ... kidding... She shakes her head. I slam my head into my pillow and scream. ( in my head not out loud, my, mom would kill me!) Luna i have no time your lucky i got you up! You would've been late. Now your father would like to speak to you and Aaron before you two leave. She said while leaving the room. The thing is with my parents,i barely see them! Probably i see them a good 3 times a week! Usually my brother Aaron and my sister Melissa do everything around the house. My brother is a senior and my sister is a Sophomore in collage but she usually she comes around twice a week to make sure were okay. I get out of my bed and make it as fast as i can. Then put on my new school uniform. It's a shirt and skirt. The shirt has a blue bow on the front with blue trim around the neck. The skirt looks the same but no bow. I run down stairs and see my father in front of the fire place in his chair. He is holding a blackish greyish jacket and a grey bandana. I know what those are for... and im not extied for it.... but it is rule in our family. ( well for me and Aaron that is) Luna come and get these. My father says it in a very modest tone. Yes father im.... We both hear big steps coming down the stairs and we both know it's Aaron. He comes down, smiles at me, then glares at my father. Me and him are so close i cant even explain it. Aaron, my father says quietly, come and get your... Aaron comes to my father takes his jacket and bandanna and throws it in the fire. My face turns into a scared one. AARON! My father says yelling. Dad i cant take it! Hiding who we are is stupid! And hiding Luna from the world isn't the right thing to do ethier. Aaron, i say quietly, please I don't want to show.... Who cares!? He interrupts me. Your amazing and talented Luna listing to dad is going to get you no where. I start to tear up a little but no one could notice. That's enough from the both of you! Young lady you are going to wear these to school everyday, is that clear? It's silent for a moment then i say, Yes sir, i understand. Good, He says. Aaron go to the car and wait for Luna. He growls and leaves while slamming the door behind him. I sigh and my father passes me my clothes and leaves. He's just like mom. Doesn't even say bye.
