Birthday bash

2 months pasted since Halloween. School was already better with out Gene or Balto runining it. A couple days before Christmas break, Aaron found out who he was playing with on his video game. It was Jess! I never really saw it coming. She did tell me she played with someone. Now those two are even closer than ever! Then came my birthday. December 31. Aaron calls me a new year baby. The thing with having your birthday on a holiday..... its the bisuest time for your parents to work for the company. Every year they get me the same card and " Sorry Luna we couldn't be there!" That's why I always invite Laurence over. Him and Aaron are my real family. I was reading a book down stairs when it was snowing then Aaron came to me. " Are you sure i can go to Jesses for New Years? It's your birthday and I dont want to leave you alone!" He says getting more worried. " Aaron its fine! I'm not going to be alone anyways! Laurence is coming over. I'm glad me and him are going to be alone. Besides Jesses mom is out of town! Perfect time for you to go!" I say happily. He comes over and hugs me. " Happy 15th birthday sis. I left your gift on the counter over there whenever you want to open it." He says about to walk out the door. " I will! And have fun! Also thank you for being the best brother ever!" I say sweetly. He smiles at me than waves goodbye. I sigh. I didn't want him to leave but I don't want to hold him back from making friends. A couple hours later i hear my doorbell. I walk and open it to find Laurence with a huge present in his hand. He smiles brightly. " Happy birthday my lady!" He yells happily. I smile and invite him in. He quickly sets down the present and picks me up bridal style. He spins me around and we blush and laugh. He sets me down and kisses me. " Was that my birthday kiss? Cause it was pretty lame." I say sarcastly. He laughs. " Oh i just got here. The night is still young my lady. Much love to go around." He says with a charming voice. I giggle. We both sit on the couch and he slides the present to my feet. I laugh. " Okay fine ill open it." I say giving up. He comes closer and wraps his arm around me. I open the card first. Expect for money and a gift card. He writes me poems. Poems he comes up with himself. He writes me them everyday at school in the shape of  hearts. I keep them in a box in my room. This poem was about how we met and how he fell in love with me. I start to tear up. I hug him as tight as I could. He could feel the tears coming from me. " You havent even opened the real deal! Don't start crying yet!" He says wiping away my tears. He helps me take out the big present. He lays it out on our laps. It was a dark blue cork board filled with pictures of us. Next to each picture was a poem. I start to cry by reading every poem. I turn to him and he is crying to. I kiss him. After the present it was time to count down to new year! We both count and right as we reach 1 Laurence picks me up so im higher than him and twirls me around. Then sets me down and kisses me. " Happy birthday princess." He wisperhers in my ear. After that we sit down and watch my favorite show friends. We were both cuddling and then i fall asleep on his shoulder. He cuddles me more and more. I wake up to see Laurence asleep. I get up and go to open Aaron's present. It was a small box. I open it and see a dark blue bandanna. I quickly check to make sure Laurence is still sleeping and quickly switch my two banndans. He knew i wanted this one. He always knows.
