My throat was burning from the aching dryness consuming it. My teeth gritted each other as I held back my temptation to ball my eye's out. The words had settled into me, taking their place in my heart and making a home.
'Screw it. I'm not eating tomorrow...I can't...I just can't' I thought.
My body went through the motions, imitating a robot. I picked up my bag and opened the door so quickly it whooshed past me and the door handle got stuck in the dry wall. I didn't even bother to try and pull it out of the white solid, I walked out into the crisp cold air, throwing my blue suit case into my trunk and climbing into the drivers side.
"Why can't I be okay for more than I week at a time" Noah muttered as he stared out his window which was drenched in rain.
I pulled out of the suburban drive way and slammed on the gas making my way to the nearest hotel.
I didn't want to torture my younger sibling by dragging him to a motel 6 so I settled for a 4 star hotel. It was pretty nice, it had about 10 stories, from what I could count, some weren't visible as they were in the clouds, it was made of a tan/beige concrete, and I could hear water meeting water as the rain pellets fell into the un tarp covered pool.
A teen guy with a red polo shirt on and black slacks with matching dress shoes ran out and said he was valet, I gave him my key's as other guys took our bags and waited for us to get our room number, afterwards they put all our bags on our beds, I gave them each 300 Euros, yeah I know it's a bit over board but chances are they were poor and needed it.
I pulled off my white tank top, revealing a boring white bra, and took off my black yoga shorts. Noah turned the opposite direction, undressing as well, it was a bit uncomfortable, but we were both so out of it we didn't really notice nor care. I slipped a white baggy t-shirt over my wet (from the rain) skin and slid into the king sized bed. I closed my eyes, a few water droplets slipped passed my cheek bones and landed on my collar bone, it continued until I fell asleep.
I felt my brother shaking me in a gentle yet urgent fashion, making me slowly awaken.
"Hmm?" I questioned as my eye's opened lazily. I stared at Noahs' bed head with a sloppy grin on my face.
"We're gonna meet Justice at the mall soon...so yeah...get ready."
"How soon?" I groaned as I opened my arms wide and stretched.
"Bout an hour." he replied.
I got out of the most comfortable bed ever and walked over to my suit case. I pulled out a pair of dark skinny jeans and a blue jumper putting the outfit on I grabbed my keys and walked into the 'kitchen'. I started some tea, a bit upset they didn't have coffee, something I got addicted to during my stay in a America.
Noah walked in with black skinny jeans on and a black asking Alexandria hoodie, matched with his old converse he refused to throw away.
He poured himself a cup of magicalness and added a few tea spoons of sugar before basically chugging it. I did the same but in a more sluggish way.
"Do you wanna stay in for breakfast or do you want to go out and get some?" I asked as I rinsed our cups and set them in the sink.
"We can just eat at the mall. We should leave now...since it's about 20 minutes away."
"Alright lets go then."
We walked down the hallway and stepped into the fancy lift, I pressed the button with the number 1 on it and leaned against the wall, my arms crossed and eye's closed.
"So are you excited to have a real date instead of a fuck and chuck?" I questioned, my eye's still shut from the lack of sleep and depression mixing together.
