Jitters

I walked in the hallway with a huge grin I missed my brother so much .

"BABE WHERE'S LILYS DUCK?" Kayden screamed from the kitchen

"WHERE'S LILY IN GENERAL?!" I screamed back half way to the room full of food and cooking utensils. 

"She's in her room hope you don't mind, I just don't feel safe if she was with someone for longer than an hour"

'It's alright Hun but I haven't seen her duck check her bag .. And who's up there with her now??" I rose my brows at my boyfriend, as if to say 'Not so smart now, huh?'

"I think Noals is but if not I'm sure, Ess found out"

"Yeah but she's with Noah so she's a bit distracted" I added as I picked out a water, even after recovery I didn't like eating that much, I preferred water over most foods, but Noah always made me eat properly.

"And you allow this?" he raised his own eye brows.

"NO not like that they're just really close like me and you were "

"Oh so we're not close now?" I knew he was teasing, although he acted serious.

"Well no cause we're closer" I admitted with a wink

"Yeah a lot closer"

"They're like best friends I guess but I mean I think Noah had a crush on her when he was like five but that faded away "

"Realy ? Why?" he was quite curious today.

"Cause he's a player and 3 years younger than her and that's creepy and illegal"

"Shut up ..it's just weird an if they had something going on between them I wouldn't talk to either of then for a long time ."

"But he's your brother "

"So? He's also ignored me for 3 weeks"

"We both know that was because your parents were home and he wanted family time and as always just like you at that age , he got rejected "

I sighed and left the room to go see Lily, not wanting to start an argument , I picked her up And spun her In a few circles .

" I'm gonna go home she needs her nap and I need rest " kayden said, I nodded and handed him the toddler and her bags , I gave him a rushed kiss and left the room .

To be honest I was kinda upset now. He basically just told me I was rejected by my famiy, which I was and it brought up a lot of memories . I remember waiting all night for mum and dad to get home and they never came , I used to make them dinner , but soon I gave up on them. All they did when they did talk to me was talk about work or get distracted five seconds later and go back onto their phone. I guess I should've known that Noah was trying to talk to mum , but he knows they don't care,I just I don't understand! Why did they have to ruin my life! They fucked up everything! I could've been with Noah everyday and I could've had a family but No ! They ruined it!

"Hey Maria we're gonna watch a movie you in???" Essie said turning the corner and walking into the empty room.

 "mhm " is all I could manage.

I was in a basic trance , well that's what I call it , there's the basic trance , which is what I'm in now , where you hear things and react but only slow short reactions , then there's moderate trance , where you only nod , then the full trance , where you hear nothing , see nothing , and feel nothing except , your past and the tears falling down your face. I slowly moved my way to the tv room. I plopped on the couch without a blink.
