Well the two weeks were over now... and Dean couldn't bare to do it.

Castiel Novak was his fake boyfriends name. He was publicly out as gay to the school. Obviously in a small town in Kansas that wouldn't sit well with his peers.

He was such a dork. Wore awkward and bizarre clothes, day dreamed a lot and was too smart for it to be cool. He didn't have friends yet he always had a small smile on his face.

It made people angry how a sinner like him could be happy all the time.

They called him names, vandalized his locker and body, and if they knew where his house was they surely would vandalize that too. He didn't seem to care.

Castiel Novak.

The boy had dark messy hair, sharp jaw line, straight nose, pink lips, and the brightest blue eyes in the whole town. Dean was convinced if he'd just give in to being normal he would have girls hanging off his arms and the football team recruiting him.

Yet the 16 year old boy refused to act how everyone wanted him to. He didn't have a father, much like Dean. But that's all they knew. Cas was a closed book and Dean could only assume that was to protect his family. Dean also related in that sense.

Dean found himself relating and enjoying in Castiels company too much. By the end of the first date he realized it wouldn't be hard to accomplish the bet.

Dean had been repressing a side of him attracted to men. It wasn't hard to repress, the guys in his small town were dirtbags. Though he would catch a peek at their asses every once in a while, not that Dean would ever admit it.

He knew that one day he would take Sammy, get out of this shit town and leave their dead beat dad and the pale memory of what their mother was.

He just had to turn 18 and get into a good college that's all.

So he spent time bonding with his peers to get with the jock cliques, and soon he was one of the best the football team had. Next he dated girls, gave them a wink and a promise to call them.

He never did.

Then when he was done with the day of forcing smiles he could come back to Sammy, who was a clever kid. Always could do Deans homework better than Dean could. He helped but refused to give Dean the answers out of morality of his heart.

Then eventually he would tell Sammy to go in his room and lock the door so he could get their drunken father to bed.

He was a mean drunk.

Dean lied about his family to the kids at school, became even more popular and had a even harder time faking attraction to girls.

The day they came to Dean about the bet was terrifying. Why did they chose him? Did they know Dean wasn't straight? Later it was explained to him that to be fully apart of the group he had to do this. What a dumb hazing plan it was. . .

"You want me to do what?!" Dean almost shouted.

The group laughed, the jocks in deep rumbles and the cheerleaders with high giggles. It all seemed so rehearsed.

"Just pretend you dig him for 2 weeks." Tate said with a dumb smirk.

Dean could only stare at them.
