My One True Love

Go Away Part 1

Summary: this is sort of a HC. Jamie is abusive in this and wants Bart to go away. Bart eventually does and Jamie realizing how much he missies Bart does any and everything to get him back.

Third Person

Jamie hit Bart across the face once again. They were dating for two years now and at first they were happy. Well, they were at first. Jamie was kicked out of his house and started drinking. Over time he became a fully functioning alcoholic. Before the alcohol they were a perfect couple.

Bart was hit in the eye once again. This is maybe his third black eye this month. "UNTIL YOU LEARN TO ACTUALLY CLEAN UP THIS PLACE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON YOU CAN LEAVE," Jamie yelled. 

That's how he alway's gets bart. He threatens Bart that he will be thrown out. It shouldn't bother him so much as Barry or Wally could house him for a few days if he asked. Bart looked at Jamie and spoke, for once actually talking back, "You know what," he started but once Jamie looked at him he was starting to think differently, but gained his courage back.

 "Maybe I will. You can make your dinner, you can clean up your own mess, and you can pick up all of your damn beer bottles. You know why because I've had it. I bet you don't even appreciate me," Bart told him. At which all he received was a kick to the gut.

"If you think you can live without me then leave. I don't what to see your face around here again until you can accept that without me you have nothin," Jamie told him kicking bart out.

For the next two hours Bart walked to the park, sat on the swing, and cried. That was how it always  was. They would get in a fight and Bart would go to the swing and cry, eventually going back to Jamie and him apologizing.

Not this time.

Bart got off the swing and ran to Wally's house. It was 3am so he didn't really expect him to answer when he knocked on the door. The first thing Wally said when he saw Bart was as you expected, "Oh my gosh Bart what happened to you! Artemis get the first aid kit," He yelled inside the apartment.

She didn't understand what was going on just that she was tired and wanted to go back to sleep. That changed when she saw Bart. She dropped the kit on the floor and picked it up while they moved Bart to the kitchen. Wally looked him over and discovered a lot of bruises, 2 broken ribs and it looked to be like his leg wasn't healing correctly from an older injury.

Wally told all of this to Bart who just broke down crying again while Wally and Artemis patched him up. Once they were done Wally looked at her, "Can you give us a minute. I need to talk to him alone," He asked her. She understood and walked out of the kitchen.

She knew that they were dating for over five years now, but their is some part of Wally's past that he never wants to talk about and she knew that this dealt with it. Wally might not want to tell her, but Barry thought she deserved to know. (A/N Look at Kid Flash book for full story )

"Bart I want you to look at me," Wally told him. Bart didn't even think about it. He knew that if he did that then Wally would be able to tell what happened and he wouldn't even get the chance to lie about it. "Bart look at me," Wally said once again. Bart did notice that he didn't even try to raise his voice one bit.

"Bart I'm not going to ask who did this. I think I have my own Idea o who did it. I just want you to look at me and nod your head yes or no. Can you do that," He asked him in a calming voice. Bart looked at him and nodded yes.

"the person who did this didn't let you eat very often did he, that's why it's taking that leg so long to heal isn't it," Wally asked him. Bart shook his head yes and tried to not cry any more. Bart also took notice that Wally wasn't saying any names. It was almost like he had his own experience with this.

"I know you might not want to do this considering you've already been through to much pain, but can I break your leg. If you want it to heal correctly then you have to let me break it, okay," Wally asked. Bart shook his head yes. Wally broke the leg and Bart held in the scream of pain he wanted to release.

"Next step is getting some food in you for that metabolism to work," Wally said while getting a bunch of food together.  After a few minutes Bart had plenty of food to eat. "Good, you can sleep on the couch if you want, cause I hate to tell you, but this is a one bedroom apartment. Other then that let me get you a pillow and blanket," Wally told him.

When he came back he put them on the couch and looked at Bart, "I know you don't want to answer this, but you have to. Was it Jamie that did that to you," Wally asked him with a serious look on his face. Bart gulped nervously and nodded his head yes. Wally told him good night and walked back to his bedroom where Artemis was waiting.

"How is he," She asked him. "Bad. Jamie did a good job of messing him up. You can go back to bed. I have to make a few calls to figure out what Jamie's been up to for the last few years," he told her.

"What do you mean," She asked.

"They were a happy couple. In fact they were a perfect couple when they started dating. It wasn't until a few months later that I started seeing Bart with more bruises necessary and Jamie less. I'm gonna call Dick and Roy and see if they can get any info on what Jamie's been doing for the past couple years," He told her as he walked outside the door.
