"UNDYNE, THE GREAT PAPYRUS HAS ARRIVED!" Papyrus yelled at the fish lady's front door. He heard a crash and then an "oh shit" from inside.
"THOSE ARE NAUGHTY WORDS UNDYNE, PLEASE WATCH YOUR PROFANITY."
Undyne opened the door so hard it was a miracle that it didn't fly off its hinges. She put a webbed hand to the back of her hand, looking somewhat guilty. "Uh, hey Papyrus," she looked back in the door nervously. Papyrus tried to see what she was looking back at but she made sure her body blocked the entrance. "Well punk, it seems I got caught up with some stuff and I maybe totally forgot about our cooking lessons. Uh sorry about that."
Papyrus simply puffed his chest out and said, "AH BUT IF COURSE; IT MUST BE HARD TO KEEP ALL OF THIS BRILLIANCE IN MEMORY ALONE. BUT WE CAN START RIGHT NOW."
"Er, actually im kind of in the middle of something that I really need to finish," she said without making eye contact.
"OH." The tall skeleton looked down. "THEN I SUPPOSE ONE MISSED LESSON IS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL."
"Haha yeah, thanks punk you're the best," she said before running back in as the door shut in Papyrus's face.
"I KNOW." He sighed. The walk back was colder than usual. Sans wasn't home either. And Papyrus didn't feel like waiting for a story. He shoved himself in bed and let his sadness drift off into sleep.
He dreamt of walking through the blackness, the chill of being watched running down his spine. He kept walking until a faint glow of red revealed itself in the distance. Curious, he kept walking towards it until he was faced with two glowing red slits that mirrored his own eye sockets. He reached out towards them slowly. His hand was close enough that the eyes glows left a warm red light on his hand when a clawed hand shot up to grab his wrist. It twisted painfully until he heard a hiss by the side of his skull and he woke up in a panic.
