"Aren't you afraid?" She asks
No longer living
Gone
Erased
Aren't you afraid?
"You'll be forgotten?"
She looks at me as if to say
I thought....
It's kind of hard to do
How does one forget a nobody
They never saw
Never knew
Still, I tell her yes
Because my lips are sealed
I hold it back and never say
My fear of leaving
Stuck by standards
Afraid to see her face
If I truly answered
Imprisoned in a society
Who's never really seen me
Who refuse to accept me
Let me be
Chained down by my false freedom
There's my answered by I can't say
My lips are sewn
By the thread of my own fear
