Chapter 7 "Warned"

I bit my lip..."Travis, I don't know what to say..." He looked at me. His face was a very bright pink. "I am sorry, can we just get to know each other more before I say yes? I am not saying no...I just need to think about all this..." He nodded, "Okay...wanna at least go on a date? Then we could get to know each other..." he trailed off. I nodded, "Sounds great! But, where should we go?" Travis shrugged..."Wait...maybe the pool because, girl your body is on fire!" I felt my cheeks burn...then I bursted into laughter. "T-Travis....HEHEHE! Wait..." I just continued to laugh. "Umm...okay!" I said with a weird smile. "Your lips look lonely, would they like to meet mine?" Just then we both bursted out into continuous laughter. But as I laughed, I fell into his arms. We both stopped laughing as I lifted my head and looked into his emerald green eyes. We were both blushing...I stepped back a few inches a bit embarrassed. "Y/N...are you okay?" Travis asked. I nodded. "Yeah. I just feel stupid..." Travis lifted his left eye brow, "Stupid for what?" He asked. I sniffed..."I am sorry...I feel bad for holding off." I felt my eyes get foggy. "Hun- I mean...um...Y/N I just want you to be happy. So, don't feel bad for your choice." He smiled as his cheeks became a rosie red. I walked closer to him and brushed my fingers through his soft, fluffy hair. "Travis, I think we should be together." I smiled. I saw his face turn into even more of a bright red. "That sounds...wonderful!" We pulled in for a kiss. As we broke apart...thunder crashed in the sky. "We better get to your house. It's going to rain." He said as he put his arm around me. I nodded as we started to walk. The smell of rain filled the air and a breeze caught me. I started shaking...noticing I forgot my jacket. "Oh, here you go." Travis took off his green sweat shirt and handed it over to me. "T-thanks Travis." I pulled it over my head and realized his jacket was a little big. "Haha. You look adorable!" He said. He grabbed my hand and we walked back to my house.

Travis's POV

As we reached the house, I realized that Y/N and I had to tell her family and my family about us...dating. "Um...Y/N you realize we have to tell your mom and dad about us...right?" I asked. She nodded, "Don't worry. My dad and mom will probably have no problem with it! Except my...brother..." She trailed off. I bit my lip and felt worry wave over me. "Right...um...okay," I said. We walked into the house. "Hey mom!" Y/N yelled. "Hey sweetie! How was your date with Travis?" Mrs. L/N teased. "Mom, Travis and I have to tell you something..." Y/N said without answering her mom's question. I looked at Y/N..."What me to tell them?" I whispered to her. She nodded, "Go for it." I smiled and gave a nervous laugh, "I don't know how to tell you this but, Y/N and I are now...dating," I looked at my dad to see a proud grin on his face and my mom seemed happy as well. "WHAT?!" Y/N brother choked. I knew he would not take this well..I told my self. "Jory...chill out!" Y/N ran over and held his arms back. "YOU BETTER NOT HURT HER OF YOU ARE DEAD! YOU HEAR ME? DEAD." He warned. "I-I won't I p-promise..." I shuddered. "JORY! STOP!" Y/N mom demanded. Jory pushed Y/N down and ran over to me. CRAP! I thought. I closed my eyes and looked away until I felt nothing happen. The door opened..."Hello?" A mans voice echoed the halls. "Sweetie!" Y/N mom called. I opened my eyes and saw Y/N's brother calm down. "H-hey Dad..." Jory said. "Your home early hun?" Mrs. L/N asked. He nodded, "Yeah. My boss let me take a couple hours off so I can meet this Travis kid." The tall man walked though the halls and saw Y/N knocked out on the ground..."What...happened?" He asked he ran over to Y/N and yelled, "JORY! OVER HERE NOW!" I ran over and saw Y/N on the ground taking shallow breaths. "Oh...my!" I ran over and picked her up. Just then Jory and Y/N father went into a private room. "Is s-she going to be okay?" I asked. Mrs. L/N nodded, "I think so...this happened before. Jory forgot she was behind him so he pulled forward and that made her let go. Don't worry she fell on rocks before." I said, "But Jory pushed her..." "No he did not. It made it look like he pushed her but he did not. Lucky she landed on the rug. But, we should take her to the hospital anyways." Her mom tried picking her up. "She is too heavy!" Her mom moaned. I grabbed her and held her close to my face. "She is knocked out cold...are you sure she will be okay?" I asked. I looked at her mom, "N-no. I am sorry Travis...I lied just so you would not worry." Her mom started sobbing, "This has never happened before." My parents rushed over to me..."Mrs. L/N, I will call the ER. And we will go with her." Her mom nodded, "O-okay."

Your POV

I heard sirens as I opened my eyes. I remember my brother accidentally knocking me over. "Ugh." I moaned. Am I going to the ER? Just then the car pulled over and I saw a door open. I am not that injured! I thought to myself. I saw me strapped to a white bed and my blurry eyesight saw a couple men carrying the bed into the hospital. I fell asleep. When I opened my eyes again I saw everyone. Except my brother. "Leave Travis and Y/N alone..." My mom said they left the room except Travis. My eye vision got better and I saw Travis scoot closer to me. "A-are you okay Y/N?" He asked. I nodded slowly...but I did that just so he did not worry about me. "W-what happened to Jory?" I asked. My eyesight went back to normal...but the first thing I saw was Travis's eyes shedding tears. "Y/N...I am sorry. I did not save you fast enough..." He ignored my question. "T-Travis, I am fine. Really, it's okay." I whipped his tears away. I sat up slowly...but then Travis gently pushed me back down..."No. Don't get up just yet, you might have a broken bone or even worse." I nodded and obeyed. "T-Travis...what did happen to my brother?" I asked again. He frowned, "He decided to not stay in the house, he visited you...and he felt terrible. He went into a hotel instead...for your safety." I teared up. "What? But..." Travis calmed me down with a hug. "You need your rest..." He left the room as I fell asleep.
