Chapter 9 "Summer Breeze"

Your POV

Months have passed and nothing much has happened. Travis and I are happy but, one thing is...today is the last day of this school year and, Travis and I aren't quite sure what we will do together over this summer. His mom and mine are planning a camping trip so maybe we could both join. I walked to the school door, "Today is the last day! Wow. Next year will be our third year...I hope we get into the same group again..." Aphmau trailed off. "Aphmau! I am going to miss you. Unless...WE HAVE A SLEEPOVER!" I suggested. Aphmau's eyes grew wide, "Yes, of corse. You have my number right?" I nodded. "Great!" She said. The bell rang, "Well, let's head to class!" We walked down the hallway into the reading class. I saw Travis sitting alone, "Travis! Hey!" I sat next to him. "Hey baby, wanna put on a bathing suit?" He teased. I felt my face burn up. "Wow you look like a tomato!" He added. I felt my cheeks burn more. "Awww! Travis~Kun and Y/N~Senpai are having a moment!" Kawaii~Chan yelled. I jumped in surprise, "Kawaii~Chan! Don't sneak up on people like that!!!" Travis yawned, "It's okay. I don't mind." I felt his arm go across my chair and onto my shoulder. "Meep," I whispered to myself. From behind us, I heard Kawaii~Chan scream. "Oh no, we set her off..." Travis whispered. "YYYYYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!" She yelled. She then, grabbed her phone and took photos of us. "Oh no! I am so sorry! KAWAII~CHAN STOP!" Aphmau yelled. "B-but Aphmau~Senpai...K-" "Nope. Kawaii~Chan, listen don't fan girl in front of them. They may look cute but, it might embarrass them," Aphmau interrupted. "Okay, I am sorry Y/N~Senpai." I winked, "Don't worry, it's fine." Then the teacher walked in, "Good morning class, today we don't have any reading! We just have free time!" We all cheered. "This is the BEST last day of school ever!" A unknown boy yelled in the back. He was a ware wolf...his ears were dark brown and so was his tale. Aphmau hung around a lot of ware wolf's. I heard she was the so called, "alpha female." I can't quite believe it because, she is a human or, she seems to be one. As the class made paper airplanes, drew, read books, etc...I decided to hang out with Travis. Aphmau was busy with a ware wolf talking...so I decided to be with Travis for the hour. He hugged me, "So, are we going camping?" I shrugged, "I don't really know yet. But, I do know that, you can still hang out with me at my house. It's really no big deal." Travis started to blush a light pink. "Aww...look who is blushing now!" I said as he chuckled. He then blew me a kiss, sweetie, we should go swimming. Because-" "-My body's on fire." I interrupted, "I already know that one!" I kissed his cheek. Travis blushed even more. "Well then, what is a nice girl like you doing in a dirty mind like mine?" I felt my cheeks burn, "T-Travis...I never heard of that one..." then the bell rang, "I gotta go cupcake." He said. He walked off as I went into my next class.

3 hrs later.......

The principal made an announcement, "Good evening children, today we have a short day since it is the last day of school. So, you may all go home now. I'll see you next year!" Half of the class ran out the class room door and, very few walked out but, I just sat there. Travis and I planned to meet here...so he should be here any minute now. I told myself. I heard footsteps behind me, "Boo!" Travis yelled. I jumped a little. "Did I scare you?" He asked. "Y-yeah...you kind of did," I shuddered. I turned around and saw, Travis was holding flowers...they were my F/K (fav kind.) I blushed, "T-Travis, you did not have to." He smiled, "No, I had to." He kissed me and handed them to me. "Ready to go?" I asked him. He nodded, "Let's go." We slowly walked out the door but, when we opened it a summer breeze bursted into us. It was nice and warm...but it was also the kind that was a little chilly in the blazing hot. It was truly spring but, it had a summer feel to it. "Ah, it's my favorite kind of weather," Travis said. I blushed, "Mine too."
