Your POV

I walked slowly in the wind. I was sent here to forage some wood. My mom was fishing and Travis was hunting. I heard a loud crack of a twig which I stepped on, as the horizon filled with darkness. It was close to night and foraging wood was the hardest thing I've ever done...I heard the trees shake and the wind howl. I slowly chopped wood but, with fear. I need to hurry before Travis starts to worry. I thought. As I took another step, I felt a little water fall onto me. "Is it really raining right now?" I moaned. I picked up a heavy chunk of wood and dragged it onto the sled that we us for wood. Then I saw lightning strike the nearest tree. "Oh my Irene! I need to get out of here!" I screeched. "Travis? Mom?!" I yelled, "Travis's Mom?!" I bit my lip as I left the sled there. I ran quickly through the forest. I can't believe I got lost. There could be any danger ready to strike at any minute! I stressed. "I wish we brought a phone or something," I whispered. I found a small mini cave and I walked in it for safety.

Travis's POV

It's been hours since Y/N has returned. I was starting to worry. "I knew I should've stayed with her!" I hollered. "Travis, this is not your fault. I told you to hunt...not to be with Y/N. It's my fault for making her go this late anyways..." Y/N's mom sobbed. She could be dead by anything right now..."I'm going out to find her!" I said. "No, you can't do that!" My mom begged. "Mom, let me be a man, and save her!" I yelled in anger. "I don't want you to risk your-" "-MOM JUST LET ME FIND HER!!!" I interrupted, "If you give me a flashlight and a map, I'd be fine!" My mom slowly walked over, and handed her map and a small flashlight, "Go." I smiled and ran out of the cave. Running through the cold as fast as I could. "Y/N!" I called, "Y/N! Are you okay?! Are you here?!"

Your POV

I heard a faint yell that reminded me of Travis. "Me and my imagination!" I moaned. Travis...I miss him...I cried inside my head. Silence broke, as a soft rumble from my stomach called. Im starving! I thought. I heard a louder growl from above the cave. "That was certainly not my stomach," I panicked. I heard a louder growl that sounded like a jaguar! Oh my Irene! Was that a jaguar? I shook in fear. Stay still! I thought. I then saw the wild black cat jump down from above the cave. Sniffing here to there. I'm so dead! I screamed in my mind. The jaguar slowly walked into the cave with a curiosity over taking him. "RAAARRRR!" It roared. "AHHH TRAVIS!" I screamed. I ran as fast as I could. I'm an idiot! That only makes that cat want me more! I yelled in my mind. I then heard Travis yell, "YOU CANT HAVE HER!" As the cat tried to jump at me while I tripped. He hit the cat hard on the head with a thick branch. The cat fell and landed dead. "Oh my Irene! Y/N are you okay?!" He grabbed my hand and helped me up. "T-Travis!" I sobbed as I hugged him. "Let's go back..." he whispered in my ear.
