I had an awfully strange day today. It started off as a normal day. I woke up, attempted to brush my mess of black curly hair, almost missed the bus and had the usual chat with Chloe.
I was at first break, sitting up a tree, when suddenly a boy appeared no older than 17.
I almost fell out of the tree.
'Hi' he said, extending a hand to help me up. 'I-uh hi' I said, terrified, 'who are you?' I asked. 'Oh sorry, I'm Renan and you are Ella' he said. 'How do you know my name?' I asked shocked. 'Are you some kind of creepy stalker?'
'No' he laughed 'but you have to come with me.' He said suddenly serious. He must have seen the confused look on my face because he added, 'it's about your tattoo.'
Another wave of shock came over me. 'Why? How?' I stuttered out. 'You are an elemental' he replied casually, like it was no big deal. 'A what!?'
'You heard me, an elemental, and you are coming with me.'
