"Yes..." Vanessa said, though she didn't want to respond. "That's no good. I love mice. I even named myself after them." The maiden replied, her voice was quiet but surprisingly audible. "What's your name?" Vanessa's voice trembled as much as herself. "My parents named me Thaddeus, what an ugly name, the folks around here gave me the name the mouse maiden, I don't mind it, but my name is Micey." Vanessa still didn't turn around. "That's a nice name." "Thankyou, but there's no need to act sincere, I know what you really think." Vanessa gulped and turned around, but the maiden was gone. "She's actually quite pretty for a supernatural creature." Cassandra said, after staying silent for awhile. "What does she look like?" Vanessa turned back to her friend. "You'll have to find out for yourself." Cassandra twitched. "Are you ok?" Vanessa watched her friend twitch repeatedly, spilling her coffee all over herself. Cassandra opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. She nodded her head yes. Vanessa wondered if this was actually true, but she decided to believe her. Cassandra's eyes twitched and her pupils became small. "Mice..." she said. "What?" Vanessa looked at her shaking friend. "There all over me!" Cassandra yelled, "Make it stop!" Cassandra was shaking heavily. Vanessa looked around, she didn't know what to do, so hit Cassandra with a pan, knocking her out. When Cassandra awoke, Vanessa rushed over to her to see if she was still panicking. Cassandra noticed there was something in her mouth. She spit it out. It was a mouse. Cassandra gagged and then winced. "My head... what happened?" Vanessa lied. "I don't know! You just fainted!" Then there was a raspy and tired voice, "You shouldn't lie. Or the next mouse will be in your mouth..."
