When you see two people stare at each other, usually, it's a stare of acknowledgment. People take in the information they receive from another person by physical manners. They do not put too much thought into what other person is thinking and the look is just blank with no meaning.

When you see two people in love stare at each other, you can feel the vibrations of strong chemistry those people experience. One look can hold so much passion that it makes you feel uncomfortable due to you, basically, receiving the energy that person is vibrating by looking at the one he/she loves. You can see the thirst, the craving sensation of just pressing their lips softly to others to kill the urge. The look so powerful that it just brings butterflies and craves a smile on the one who is observing the situation.
