By the time 3rd hour came, everyone had heard about why I was called to the Principle's office. It seemed like everywhere I turned, people were staring at me. Questioning me with their eyes. Great. This is just what I needed. Dont worry, I told myself. You're going to take care of this.
Sixth hour came around. I slowly walked into the classroom. Suspicion and curiosity was present in nearly everyone's eyes. I took my seat next to Tori. She looked at me with suspicion in her eyes.
"What's up with these rumors I'm hearing?" She questioned.
"What rumors?" I played dumb.
"People are saying that you and that Mr. Alex guy have something going on," she said.
I sighed and looked at her.
"Tori, you really shouldn't believe everything that you hear," I said.
She wasn't buying it. She leaned closer to me.
"Jade, I'm not an idiot. You haven't walked from school with me for months. Gerald told me that you said something about staying after school and assisting one of your teachers. I'm assuming that it's him. I saw the way you two looked at each other when we were at the park that day. I'm your best friend, Jade. I'll never judge you. You know that. When you're ready to stop lying and talk to me about this, I'll be waiting,"
Without another word, she leaned back over and focused on her work. I was speechless. I hated how Tori could always see right through me. I turned my attention back to my work and tried my hardest to ignore the suspicious eyes and concentrate on my work.
When the bell rang, I became extremely uneasy and nervous. It was time to go to Jake's class. I wonder if he faced the same scrutiny that I did today? I opened the door and walked in.
I was the only one in the classroom with him. He had the same look on his face that I had on mine. I guess we both had a bad day. Too bad his was about to be much worse.
I walked straight to my seat, not daring to speak to him while we were alone. That would only make people talk more. I took out my notebook and pen, patiently waiting for my prey to walk into the classroom.
Everyone started coming into the classroom. I scanned the crowd to find my prey. I exploded with joy when I saw him. For a second, I thought he wasn't here. That would have severely screwed up my plans.
My prey was Kyle. He was a popular basketball player who was also extremely attractive. He was tall, with brown eyes, caramel skin, an athletic build, and a gorgeous smile. He took his seat next to me.
"Hey," I said, smiling my ass off.
"Hey, gorgeous. How are you?" He asked.
To my advantage, Kyle has had a crush on me since 9th grade. I was never interested because he seemed like a player. So not my type. I still felt bad for using him the way I'm about to.
"I'm great," I said as I twirled my hair with fingers. I batted my suggestive eyes at him. "Really great. How are you?" I asked.
He seemed to be surprised by my willingness to flirt with him. Anytime he tried to flirt with me, I'd just laugh it off. I never flirted back. He's just not my type. Lust appeared in his eyes.
"I'm good. I'd be better if we talked more often," he suggestively said.
I looked around and saw everyone staring at us. This was good. It's what I wanted. My eyes landed on Tiffany. Bitch. It's your fault that I have to do this shit!
I smiled and leaned closer to Kyle. My face two feet away from his.
"I'd like that," I said in a seductive tone.
