Chapter 9 ~Deciding to Leave~

Azuna'a P.O.V

We finally got back to Phoenix Drop, it wasn't that far from Scales Wind. When we got off board a little blue headed boy came out of the ship. Dmitri..

"Hahah! I'm Here!" He yelled.

"Oh my god! Dmitri!What are you doing here?! D-did you s-stow away on the ship?! Nicole is gonna kill me! How did we didn't Notice!!" Aphmau yelled.

"Pfft, mom can't kill me if she doesn't know where I am! Plus I've asked her so MANY times to come to Phoenix Drop! My Grandpa's stories of this place...how could I NOT come Here?! Hehe! Plus, I know you'll take care of me right?" He asked looking directly into Aphmaus eyes.

"Stop looking at me like that..." She mumbles.

"Of course we'll take care of you, but we have to tell your mom. She is going to be very worried." I explained to him, lowering down to his level.

"Whaaa? Well...if you're going to tell her at least let me see the place?...Pleeeeeaaasseeee? I promise I won't ever come here again, I just want to visit Phoenix Drop. My mom brought me to O'khasis, Brightport, Nashma, Kikrill, and alll those other villages she visited EXCEPT for this one! Please, please pretty please let me stay at least a day here?" He begged. As much as I don't really like kids....It's mainly up to Aphmau.

She sighed in annoyance, "Fine just ONE day! But I'm still writing a letter to your mother that you stowed away on the ship" She replied.

"R-really?! Thank you so much Aphmeow!" He replied. Aphmeow? That's kind of cute, I giggled.

Just then I see a girl with pink hair and cat ears, much similar to mine. She came and hugged the life out of Dmitri.

"Oooh look at this cutie-pie!!" She merely yelled squeezing him tight.

"AHH CRAZY LADY LET GO OF ME! HELP!" Dmitri yelled.

I also noticed a boy with blonde hair and another one with brown.

"He's so cute! Kawaii~Chan thinks he looks like a chibi Dante~Kun with blue hair!!" She squealed. Kawaii~Chan? Is that her name?

A little girl with light blue hair and cat ears and tail started talking also.

"Can we keep him Momma he can be my oniichan because of our hair!" She yelled. I guessing that's her kid.

"I regret coming here, help this lady is gonna kill me she's squeezing me so har----AARRRRGHHH!" He yelled. I chuckled a little.

"Uh...Kawaii~Chan, I brought you here to look at Aphmau's condition...not for this kid here." The boy with a green scarf covering his face but just up to his nose.

"b-but Malachi~Sama, look! He looks like Dante~Kun, blue hair is super kawaii~" Kawaii~Chan spoke.

"By the way mom, who is this kid?" I blonde hair boy asked. Wait Mom??

"This is Dmitri, Nicole's kid who stowed away on our ship..now I'm going to have to send a letter to Nicole about Dmitri.." Aphmau replied. 

Irene...having a son...? But..Enki told me that when a divine warrior has a kid..and when they're born that warrior's son or daughter is their descendants...but when did she have a..a kid..?

"...na...una....zuna...AZUNA??" I hear my name being yelled by Laurence.

I must've spaced out. I see everyone gone except for Laurence.

"You okay there? You spaced out there." He asked me. 

"Yeah, I'm fine just..thinking.." I replied. He gave a worried look, "You sure?" He asked, I nodded yes.

"You're thinking about them?" He asked. I nodded. "Did Aphmau really have kids?" I asked. He shook his head. "She adopted them, they're really sweet though." He smiled.

Aphmau is Irene..Aaron is Shad, who else is out there?

"We should head through the gates, they're probably waiting for us." Laurence said. I nodded and we both started walking towards the gates.

As we were walking I was still thinking about Menphia, Esmund, Enki and Kul'Zac...who are their descendants? I guess I bumped into something and fell to the floor because I find myself on the floor now.

~Time Skip~

I woke up in a bed in a large tree, I sat up and looked around and saw Aphmau talking to Kawaii~Chan I believe? And I saw Katelyn sitting down, but I didn't see Laurence anywhere. 

Katelyn looked at me, "Hey, you're up! You've been out for quite a while now, couple hours."

I softly sighed and got up, Aphmau walked over to us. 

"You still have the ears and tail.. so that means Kawaii~Chan couldn't help you out huh..? DARN IT! Next thing you know we'll be talking like her too. If she doesn't do something about this then I will. I can't stand this! I went through a LOT just to be respected when I joined the Jury of Nine.. this isn't helping my pride at all." Katelyn explained. Aphmau sighed in response and she left Katelyn alone then I did the same.

I noticed it was dark out then I laid back into bed and I looked at the tree that was above me, I relaxed my body then I fell back asleep.

~Morning~

I woke up and it before sunrise, I sat up and looked around once more. I saw Aphmau asleep so with Katelyn, then I saw Laurence. I got up and grabbed my bag, I packed some clothes that Aphmau's friend left for me.

Leaving them, but..I'm just a monster to them. When people called me a monster years ago..

I felt a tear run down my cheek, I don't want to relive that. Phoenix Drop would do the same..

I walked over to Laurence and looked at him, he..looks so peaceful. I kissed his forehead then, I went down the tree because there was a stair well and I walked down and I started walking towards the gates.
