"Mom, can you drive me to school?" I asked my mom who was cutting vegetables.

"Sure, honey." I would drive myself, but my raggedy old car wouldn't work. I ate my cereal and we walked out to the car with my mom walking to the driver side.

Sooner later, we arrived at Ridgeview High. I noticed the students and the schools most notorious bad boy, Peyton McKay. He was talking with his groupies and he was the one to always mess with me. I walked out the car hiding myself away from his stares.

"Mommy drive you to school?" He asked if walking up to me.

I, then heard my mom calling my name, "Elena, my love! You forgot your lunch!"

My mom walked beside me and I glared at Peyton, "Thank you, momma!" And turned around after she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Awe, mommy even made you lunch and gave you a kiss." He teased. My mom overheard and pivoted back around.

"What did you say?" She asked with a scowl.

"Aweeeee, mommy protecting her daughter?" He said teasingly. Before I could even breathe, my mom was on top of him punching him to dear life.

A crowd formed yelling a series of, "Get him grandma!" or "Fight back, Peyton!"

I, however laughed at the situation. I was on the ground rolling my butt dry.

And that's how my day was.
