My brother took me back home ignoring my repeated protests to follow dad into the woods and confront him. He is obviously hiding something important and I hate to be left out in the dark. His sudden decision to send me to the blue moon pack bothered me more than it should.

The blue moon pack is the next largest pack after ours. We have a very strong pact with the pack considering how the alpha is my mother's big brother and the Luna is my father's little sister. I know , it's supposed to be a very rare matching. So you see, as if my father and brother aren't over protective enough , I have two more people in my life to add icing to the cake.

Ever since I was born my aunt had done nothing but love me and protect me like her own child. My brother told me that my uncle promised my mother that he would take good care of me when she was dying. My mother's death affected him very badly. In fact it was so bad that he refused to send me back to my pack when I was one month old. It was when my aunt knocked some sense into him he let me live here , but on a condition that I was to visit him regularly , which wasn't a deal too hard to keep because their pack is just a few kilometres away from ours.

But whenever my visit to blue moon pack came up , my dad would scowl and grumble about it all day , saying that they can come visit if they want but he isn't going to let his little girl out of his sights. That is precisely why I am currently having second thoughts about actually going to see my uncle and aunt. I am shocked to know that my father himself arranged this visit, without even asking me about it.

I was packing my bag when the loud bang of the front door being closed reached my ears. I dropped the clothes that I was holding and ran downstairs.

I entered the hallway only to hear my dad's study room door being closed with a loud click. As I prepared myself to head that way suddenly the front door opened again and in came Nina and chase , both portraying looks of worry on their faces.

"Are you alright? " Nina asked me as they made their way towards me. "Why did you leave so soon? What was the commotion about this morning? Is it still about Tia , because I swear I will kill her " chase asked. I put my palms in front of me and took a step backwards "guys calm down. I am just going to visit my aunt for a few days."

"BUT WHY" they both asked at the same time. Realising what they have done, they high- fived each other. I rolled my eyes at them. Must be one of the Stupid twin things.

"well if you guys wouldn't have rudely interrupted my plan to go interrogate my dad about the same I would be telling you why " I said mock glaring at them. Nina shrugged while chase gave a girly squeal . "I love confrontations. Lets go detective Lisa " he said grabbing my arm and dragging me towards the closed study door.

He placed his ear on the door slightly inclining his head. Nina rolled her eyes "Doesn't interrogation mean talking with him face to face rather than eavesdropping ?". He turned his head and glared at us. " I know but this is way more exciting. Now shut up and follow my lead "

If Zach saw us doing this he would kill them both first and then he would kill me slowly. If we were to do this a few years back he would have joined us, but now that he is 21 years old and my father is going to pass on the alpha title to him this year , he acts all serious, in Nina's language 'with a pole up his ass'.

Its a good thing he left to check up about the patrols on the border an hour back. Its almost like the pack is preparing itself for a war. Over maybe I am over thinking about this as usual.
