A sharp forward jerk brought the car to a stop and my eyes flew open. "Ow! you couldn't have parked the car like any other normal person?" Nina asked rubbing her head from where it hit the window.

"That's the thing dearest sister. I'm not like all the other boys out there" he said in a high pitched girly voice.

"Yeah. You are gay" my brother muttered as he got out of the car.

"Not that there is anything wrong with that. We will totally support you".

I stifled a yawn and followed my brother taking my own sweet time. As soon as I had set foot on the ground two strong arms wrapped around me, bringing a familiarity that missed badly.

"Uncle Robert!" I cried as I hugged him back. My uncle is an intimidating man , you could never catch him smiling or even smirking for that matter. But whenever we are around he manages to put on his best grin.

"What is that man feeding you? You look like you have lost a few pounds" my uncle said keeping me at arms length and scrutinising my face. I giggled. Its like a tradition, every time we come to visit my uncle takes a dig at my dad and every time we go back my dad takes a dig at my uncle.

"honey, leave my brother alone " my aunt said coming up from behind Robert . Aunt Lilly is the most craziest person you could ever possibly meet, she is the exact opposite of my dad. The only thing common between them is their similar pair of green eyes and brown hair. Aunt Lilly hugged me as Robert went ahead to hug my brother.

I introduced Nina to them as we made our way inside their house, Chase had visited this place a few times with my brother but Nina always preferred to go to her granny's place during holidays. I noticed how my aunt looked a little worried about something, I didn't mention it though. she would tell us if something was up sooner or later. I could also see that today the security around the border and the alpha's house is pretty tight. I have never seen the house this packed with guards before.

"I am starving" my brother said rubbing his stomach. "Go to your rooms and freshen up. Dinner will be served in a few minutes" my aunt replied smiling slightly. My aunt offered Nina and Chase to settle in guest rooms for their stay but Zach and I insisted that they could share our rooms with us. Well, I insisted while Zach just kept throwing nasty looks at Chase.

I scanned the house quickly and heaved a sigh knowing that nothing has really changed since the last time I have been here, this house is huge. Not as huge as our house but as long as it feels like home who's complaining?

I reached upstairs with Nina tagging along, I kept stopping every few seconds to explain the layout of the house and everyone's rooms.

At last I stopped in front of a white coloured wooden door and turned the knob. I stepped in and took a deep breadth. "hmm. Still feels the same" I said with happiness, setting my bags on the floor to the corner and plopped down on the bed.

"Nice place" Nina replied observing the photos of me and my brother with my aunt and uncle placed on the desk. "Who's this?" Nina asked lifting a frame from the table and pointing it towards me.

There were three kids in the photo , I was in between, Zach was to my left and a blonde boy an inch taller than me was to my right. His arm resting casually on my shoulder. We were all grinning widely at the camera. This was taken when we were 12 years old.
