If the world abandoned truths
Everyone would live so much easier.
Everyday every night.
Spending their time lying through everything.

If the world abandoned fairytales
And children were taught through war games and combat training
Every nation would be strong
Everyone would be armed
Everyone can stand up to unjust.

But if the world abandoned armed forces
Would the world be more peaceful
Or more sinister
Would people still begin wars
But with themselves.
Would people still fight for what is right and what is theirs
If the world only needs peace.

If the world abandoned emotions
Would everyone live the same simple life
Or would people want to know what it means
To be themselves.

If the world abandoned friendship
Would we just be strangers with benefits
Benefits to our academic results
To our career.

If the world abandoned me.
Nothing would change.
They don't care.
I will just be a number of the deaths in that day.
