Of course I just had to dream!

“Where the hell is Alex?!” Jack screamed desperately. “I don’t know! He went to get the mail! I already called the cops but I think he got kidnapped,” Rian said, tears in his eyes. Zack was sitting silently on the couch just starring blankly at the floor.

Jack sat down next to him and he had frustrated tears in his eyes. “Why did they have to take Alex?! Why not me?” “Jack don’t even say that,” Zack whispered.

Rian came and sat on the other side of Zack. “This is all wrong,” he muttered miserably. “I really hope he’s just playing a prank on us.” Zack shook his head. “Even Alex wouldn’t do that,” he said.

They all sighed sadly. “Alex!” Zack suddenly shouted in agony. “Alex!” But Alex didn’t answer like he’d been hoping. “Alex where are you?!” he shouted, tears down his face.

“SAM!”

I bolted up, nearly cracking my head on Alex’s. “What?” I cried. “You were screaming my name,” Alex said. The others were watching me with fear. “I had a dream,” I whimpered.

Christofer hugged me tightly as I explained my dream. Alex’s mouth dropped open. “That’s freaky,” he said finally. I nodded and curled up into Christofer.

The door opened and we all held our breaths, expecting someone to scream for help.

Instead, my dad came in and locked his angry eyes on me.

“Samantha,” he growled. I shrank into Christofer fearfully. He wrapped protective arms around me. “Come here,” dad growled. I didn’t move.

He stormed forward. “Samantha!” he barked. I began to shake and Christofer held me tighter. Dad kicked Christofer. “Stop it!” I shrieked and jumped up protectively.

Dad grabbed my arm and yanked me over. “Give me the name of a popular band,” he growled. “NO!” I shouted. He punched me in the face and blood exploded out of my nose.

“SAM!” Jordan cried. Dad went over to Christofer. “Dad stop!” I begged. Dad put a switchblade to Christofer’s neck.

“Tell me a popular band or he’s not making it out of this alive.”

I gulped and felt tears sting my eyes. “Don’t do this daddy,” I whispered. He punched Christofer across the face hard and put the blade back to his neck.

“The band?” he demanded angrily. I forced myself to think of a band that he couldn’t get. Someone tough. Suicide Silence? Falling In Reverse? Ugh!

“SAMANTHA!”

“Bring Me The Horizon!” I had shouted the first band I could think of. Dad smiled and put the blade away. He came over to me and shoved me against the wall roughly. “Next time I expect an answer immediately,” he warned.

I tried to keep from sobbing. Dad wrapped his fingers around my throat. “Got it?” he demanded impatiently. “Y-yes,” I stuttered. “Let her go!” Andy shouted.

Dad laughed and threw me to the ground. He stormed out. We listened to the door shut and then I curled up. “Sammy,” Christofer said as he crawled over to me. “Please don’t cry,” Bill begged.

I sobbed into Christofer’s shirt. The blood had dried on my face by now. Alex sat down next to me and sang Six Feet Under The Stars. “I’m sorry Christofer,” I whispered when Alex was done.

Christofer hugged me tightly. “It’s not your fault,” he said. “I just sold out 5 innocent guys!” I cried. “It’s okay Sam. You had to do it,” Andy said. He gently lifted my chin and gasped.

“That’s a bad bloody nose,” Bill said. Now that he mentioned it I had started to feel the blood flowing again. I glanced at Christofer’s shirt to make sure I hadn’t bled on it. “Stay there,” Jordan said and hurried away to the bathroom.

He came back with a wet Dixie cup. “Sorry this is the best I can do,” he said apologetically and placed it under my nose. It stung and I whimpered. “Sh, it’s okay Sammy. I’m here,” Christofer said and hugged me tightly.

Nixon came over and squeezed my hand. He forced me to look into his eyes. “Sam you did nothing wrong whatsoever. He was going to kill Christofer. I played a show with BMTH they can hold their own against that ass.”

I hiccupped and rested my head on Christofer’s shoulder. “Were you scared?” I whispered. “Yea. I was really scared. But I knew you would save me,” he said and rested his chin on my head.

“Now that that’s done with I’m going to sleep,” Max muttered. I realized I was still really tired. “Go to sleep,” Christofer said and laid back with me. I closed my eyes as he gently rubbed my back and fell asleep.

***Christofer’s POV***

She had saved me! To be honest I was really happy she had saved me. I gently rubbed Sam’s back as she slept soundly for once.

“Man she has to live with that? I feel bad for her!” Alex said. I nodded. “I was scared for you Chris,” Jordan said. “I knew Sammy would save me,” I said.

Jordan chuckled. Max sat down in the corner where he always sat and watched us. “You had to be scared. You like 15,” he said. “Actually I already admitted that I was scared and I’m 19,” I said, a bit irritated. Max just got on my nerves. I mean sure he was in a bad situation but we all were!

I tried to just ignore Max and focused on Sam instead. I didn’t like it when she cried or had those nightmares.

I still had nightmares about the day I was kidnapped.

I slipped out of my apartment and walked along the quiet streets.

It was getting late out and the sky was darkening with the night. I shivered a little and shoved my hands into the pockets of my sweatshirt.

The forest came into view and I crawled through the bushes and trees until I was in the middle. Alone and happy. Just at one with nature. I smiled.

“Christofer Drew?” I turned to the man and smiled. “That’s me! What can I do for you sir?” He ran a hand through his blond hair. “Well you see my daughter is a huge fan if I could please just have your autograph.”

I stood up and went over to him as he got out a pen and paper. “What’s your daughter’s name?” I asked. “Just put ‘Victim #3’ on there.”

My eyes widened.

I blacked out.

I woke up being carried in a bag. I began to thrash about. “Shut up!” someone growled and I heard a door open. The same man as before threw me into a dark room. He explained what was going on, ripped the tape off my mouth, and slammed the door.

My fists collided with the door. “Somebody help me!” I screamed. “Who’s there?” two voices called. I stopped dead, my heart pounding against my rib cage.

“C-Christofer Drew Ingle,” I called back. A light appeared. Nixon’s face came into view and he led me to the main room.

I met Nixon and Andy that day.

It haunts me.

I shivered at the memories and tried to channel good thoughts towards Sammy. She shifted in her sleep a little and I laughed softly. “So now what do we do?” Max asked, not bothering to keep his voice down.

“Now you shut up and go to sleep before you wake Sam up,” Jordan hissed. Max just rolled his eyes and leaned back against the wall. I closed my eyes and curled up with Sammy.
