***Sam’s POV***
I woke up still curled into Christofer. I smiled at his sleeping form and just laid there relaxed despite the previous events.
“Good morning,” Bill whispered, already eating his cereal. “Morning,” I whispered back.
I managed to crawl away from Christofer and strode over to Bill. “Don’t leave me,” Christofer moaned and I laughed. “Sorry Chris I’m leaving you for Bill!” I joked. Christofer got up and ran over to me. He tackled me playfully to the ground and pinned me down.
“I win!” he cheered. I laughed and tried to push Christofer off of me. “Oh shut up you two will you?” Max growled. I glared at him as Chris helped me up.
“You’ve been nothing but mean,” I snapped. He glared and got up. “Calm down Max,” Bill warned. “No! It’s her fault we’re stuck in here in the first place!” he yelled.
My eyes widened in shock. “It’s not Sammy’s fault! She didn’t know!” Christofer snapped. Max just flipped him off. “How do you not know you’re dad is kidnapping famous people?!”
I glared at him. “I never see my dad except when he comes home drunk,” I said, ice dripping off my words. “Oh boo hoo my dad beats me oh give me pity!” Max said in cheap imitation of my voice.
My eyes burned with hate. “You guys are the only people that know,” I hissed. Max snorted. “Sure,” he said and rolled his eyes. “What do you know?” I asked as I began to shake with rage.
Bill put his hands on my shoulders. I shrugged them off and tried to take deep breaths even though that didn’t help me at all. “At least you had a dad,” Max said. “You want my dad?! Take him! Look what he does!” I cried angrily.
Max shrugged. “Ass hole,” I said coldly. “What did you call me?” he demanded just as cold. “Ass hole,” I hissed.
He punched me.
I hadn’t been expecting the punch. My head smashed against the ground and I immediately black out.
“SAMMY!”
I slowly opened my eyes. My vision was blurred at first but came back eventually. Christofer was starring at me in panic. He helped me up slowly. My head throbbed. “Holy shit!” Bill cried.
I gently touched where it throbbed. My hand came back covered in blood. I looked at the ground and saw more.
“MAX!” Christofer roared. I flinched. “Don’t yell,” I slurred. “Sorry Sammy. We have to take care of that now,” Chris said.
I noticed that Nixon and Andy were screaming at Max in the corner. He just looked at them without emotion.
I tried to stand but wobbled and Chris and Bill held me down. “Hey! Stop moving Sam! Alex and Jordan are getting you water to clean out that wound,” Bill said.
The world was dizzy through my eyes. Bill began to sing Rette Mich and I laid my non-bleeding side of my head against Christofer’s shoulder. “Don’t go to sleep Sam,” Christofer begged. But my eyelids felt heavy.
Cold water shocked me and my gash stung sharply. “OUCH!” I shrieked. “Oh God Sam! I’m sorry!” Jordan cried as he continued to wash the gash.
“LOOK WHAT YOU DID!” Andy shrieked at Max. He stormed away over to me. He grabbed my hand and I squeezed it as Jordan and Alex continued to clean the painful gash. I whimpered pathetically.
It hurt so much!
Christofer hugged me tightly as I fought back tears. “It hurts,” I whimpered. “It’s going to be okay Sammy,” Alex promised me. They held me as Alex and Jordan finished cleaning the gash. “Max you damn moron,” Alex growled.
“She wasn’t supposed to nearly die,” Max said, his tone annoyed. “Well what if I smash your head against the rock hard ground without meaning for you to nearly die?” Christofer growled. “Want to go hippie?” “Rather be a hippie than betray my best friend and get him sent to jail!” “That wasn’t my fault.” “According to Ronnie it was. And this was obviously your fault.” “It was an accident!” “You punched her!” “She wasn’t supposed to nearly die.”
I gently rested my hand on Christofer’s shoulder. “Just stop,” I said softly. “Why? He hurt you!” There were frustrated tears in his eyes. “Christofer, I lived. Max obviously doesn’t care about me or what happened. Just leave it.” Christofer sighed and I hugged him. “I’m glad you’re okay,” he whispered.
I closed my eyes as my head rested ever so gently on his shoulder. “We’ll have to wake you up every hour. Or at least what we think is every hour. Just to make sure you’re okay,” Jordan said.
Moaning, I wrapped my arms around Christofer. “Don’t let them!” I whined. “I have to Sammy!” he whined right back.
Sleep came quick. The guys kept waking me up until I finally just decided to stay up. “Sorry Sammy,” Christofer apologized. “Don’t apologize Chris. Shut up and sleep.” He had dark circles under his eyes. He smiled. I laid down with him until he fell asleep.
I got up and crawled over to Alex and Andy. “How’s the head?” Andy asked as he handed me cereal. I moaned. “It feels like I got in a fight with a truck. The truck won.”
They laughed as we ate. I was careful to only eat a third as they suggested. “So what do we do today?” I asked curiously. The door opened from down the tunnel and my heart sped up.
Did they have Bring Me The Horizon?
