Chapter 3 - Darkness Awaken

Before we start the mission, of eliminating/ assassinate Captain Vor, we geared up. Lucy handed back my helmet and dera. Good thing that I have my Prova in one of my pockets, just in case of close combat. I want to know more about Captain Vor but Lotus will tell me and Lucy in the middle of the operation. In my thoughts I was surprised that Lucy didn't make a move on me than my fellow crew mates, well all of them. I looked at her and she was looking down at her weapon. It looks like a handgun, what I can remember, it's Lato, a basic handgun, balanced stats and all, a good secondary weapon for starters. I only know other starter weapons since I read through the files at my ship. 2 starters sets for the user's desired style; Loud and Stealth. Then it hits my curiosity, I asked Lucy what's her weapons. She showed her weapons and it was MK1-Paris, MK-1 Lato, and Skana.

Y/N: "Quite an unusual combination you have there, Lucy."

Lucy: "Well I use my bow to take out targets at a very far distance, handgun for mid range and backup.

Y/N: "I see, quite reasonable though."

For quite a while, Lotus alerted us.

Lotus: "The mission will start in 1 minute"

As we prepped up, I thought to my self,

Y/N: "For the very first time, excluding Lucy, me being a one man army, me versus a bunch of enemies and the commander herself. I hope I can make out alive"

When we're at the location where she was at, she was somewhere inside a gigantic asteroid. Once we dropped in, Lotus told the first thing about her.

Lotus: "Captain Vor has lived under suspicion of possessing Orokin technology that grants her powerful abilities. We cannot allow this. Get to her location and eliminate her."

(And yes, I take and change some parts of the whole quote from the game itself and I will take more because I can't make a quote related to the original so please, don't report this)

The good thing is, that before Lucy give my helmet back, Lotus had installed a hud, related to Lucy's, well to any other Warframes, able to pinpoint the target's and my partner's location ,involves a minimap, tracks my health, energy and my ammo. So I don't have be in an unsuspected situation in a wrong time.

As me and Lucy rush forward to find our target, enemies were spotted ahead of us. I stopped for a bit but Lucy continue to rush in and killed them recklessly . I was almost to vomit because that reminds me of the first encounter of her. This makes me think of one question about them, their true purpose. Does their path have to involve of killing their opponent to move on? That can't be true, never is, does it? I snapped back to my senses when Lucy was calling me to proceed the mission. Well I can't run away from this event now. It was just us two or her...

As we almost arrive to where Captain Vor was located, Lucy had stopped running for all a sudden. I ruched and kneel down at her and asked if she was alright. Lucy replied that she will be alright for now. I think that the Ascaris that I have learned from Lotus was almost taking Lucy's free will. If that device had reached its full operation, it will become a great downfall to the solar system,being taken over by the Grinner, and I won't let that happen, even I'm on the enemy side of the Tenno. Once were arrived a specific room, where it was gigantic, big enough to be an arena. A sudden flash appeared at the platform at the center of the room, our target was there...

Captain Vor

As the light had closed off, Vor said;

Captain Vor: "Foolish Tenno, do you realize your Lotus has sent you to die?"
