Nate Ford is THE rebel. But he's only like this to get attention, his dad's the leader of a big company, making himself the fourth richest guy on the planet.

Amber Evans is pretty much your regular hard-working girl. She doesn't have much money, but still goes to an expensive school, just to make the most of her cleverness.

But when they meet in an unexpected situation, and then get themselves into more, unexpected situations, they have to take the ride together.

For Better, For Worse.

1) Coffee Shop Girl

“SHIT!”

It was my first day back at work after Christmas;

“YOU JUST SPILT MY COFFEE ORDER!”

I work in a coffee shop;

“Well that was clever…”

And from the looks of things, my next customer is spoilt rotten. And rich.

Oh the joys..

“Can you hurry up and serve me already? I have places to be.”

I stop trying to wipe up the remains of the skinny latte I had dropped and slowly turn around to face the voice.

Wow! Just look at that! It’s the spoilt rich kid again! What a SHOCKER!

Yeah-I’m a big fan of sarcasm-you probably noticed.

“And I have customers to serve but as you can see,” I gesture to the mess I made “I am trying to clean this up.”

“Yeah, yeah. Get a move on; I have things to do…”

Translation: I have people to do.

“To be honest, I couldn’t care less. So here’s a little advice: go buy some damn patience!”

“So, what’s your order?” I force a sweet smile to prevent me from ripping his spoilt head off-yeah I hate rich people, it’s a long story- as I wait for his reply.

“A mocha. Here's the money keep the change. I'll be over there.” He said, nodding to a table near the window before making his way over there.

I rush his order; not caring how many mistakes i make. If my boss saw me right now she'd kill me. Good job she isn't in today.

After slamming his drink down where he's sitting i return to my position behind the counter. I clock out before heading home.

2) It's Winter, Can't You Tell?

In my opinion, today is actually going really well! You know, spilling coffee; spoilt rich people; freezing my butt off as I walk the two miles to my apartment in the dead of winter and rushing really makes my day!

If you can't already tell: I mean quite the opposite.

Actually, to say it was freezing is an understatement. I am actually glowing blue.

I have been mistaken, for, a snow cone.

Maybe i should ditch the whole coffee scene and go for an ice cream scooper instead? Yeah i'd really fit in.

If my facial expression isn't hinting at my bad mood, i must have a giant flashing sign stuck to my head warning everyone away. EVERYONE is avoiding me like the plague. Or maybe its the whole glowing thing, i've heard people have started believing in all the supernatural stuff again, the blue-ness must be abit... Freaky.
