She held her breath.
"This is going to sound weird, and even embarrassing. But, I'm friends with you because I want to change who you are. I want to bring out the real you. Not the antisocial girl who hangs out with no one and spends time alone. Do you know it hurts me whenever I see someone bully you? I want to hurt then so bad but I know if I do it, it'll frighten you. So I started slow. I talked to you. I was praying so hard that you'll talk to me. And you did. I was happy because I knew that I'm making progress.
