Worlds on the Brink of Destruction

Darkness was the only thing that can be seen. Tiny white dots in the distance makes the darkness bearable.

"HYAAAAAAAH!!"

Two dark blurs can be seen clashing against each other every few seconds.
"GIVE UP! I'VE ALREADY WON!!"

The two blurs finally stop in one last clash, seemingly floating in the darkness. What appears to be is a man and a teenage boy stuck in a power struggle that was slowly moving in the mans favor. The man wielded an oversized, double edged claymore. The blade was a dull silver, its hilt covered in some dark pulsating purple mass. Two smaller blades were protruding from each side of the much larger blade, both stuck inside the mass acting as a guard.

The boy held a longer than normal daitō. The blade's edge was a dark crimson while the back of it was black. The hilt was a mix of crimson and black as well in a cross pattern. The guard held an elegant black fennec fox head with bright crimson eyes that looked like it was shooting the blade from its mouth.

"They've already awaken boy!" The man exclaimed, pushing harder against the teen, face twisted into a cruel and demented grin. The darkness was slowly beginning to change shape and color around them. "Your world and all the others will soon be destroyed! There is NOTHING you can do to stop it!"

The sound of something cutting through the air caused the mans eyes to widen. He stopped the struggle and dodge backwards. From his right, in slow motion, he watched a pure white arrow made of some type of energy fly where his head had once been. Looking up towards where it came from, the man growled at the sight of a teenage girl above him, preparing to fire again with more of the unidentified energy with her bow.

The bow in question was a light pink compound bow, its design similar to that of a phoenix. The bow was a lot more angular than a normal one. The limbs formed the wings while the mouth functioned as the arrow rest. The eyes, which were currently white, flashed to light blue. The color of the arrow currently locked in, turned light blue as well. The girl aimed upward and with a cry of "Aequaliter Nubila!" she fired, the arrow flying high into the abyss of the now ever changing reality.

The arrow stopped far above them and exploded in a light blue cloud. From the cloud thousands of arrows shot themselves at the man. The man hefted his sword up and shouted "Clypeus!" A sphere of clear energy began to cover the man. "Cancel!" A different voice shouted from the mans left. The sphere that was almost formed fizzled out of existence.

Glancing away from the arrows en route, the man spotted another boy next to the daitō wielding one. This boy held a longer than normal Gerber Mark II dagger in his right hand. In his left was an artillery sword pointed at him. Its blade was more of a dark green light saber than that of a sword. The handle was black with a light green cobra snake etched into it, coiling down the handle. The tail of the snake acted as the guard. The boy had a cocky smirk on his face as the man was engulfed in an explosion caused by the arrows.

The girl floated down next to the boys, bow aimed at the cloud where the man had been. "Think we slowed him down?" She asked, arrow and phoenix eyes turning white. "Hopefully we impaired him," the boy with the daitō stated, "I got a plan but we don't have a lot of time." The artillery boy scoffed. "We got this guys. We need to hit him hard and fast." The cloud shifted. The reality continued to change.

"Here he comes!" The girl spoke as the man shot out of the cloud at them, a few cuts adorning his body.

The battle continued in the ever changing reality. The three teens fought hard against the deranged man. Different colored beams and slashes collided with clear shields. Shouts of "Maiorem Infirmos!" every few moments. Multiple variety of colored arrows flew with precise accuracy. Shifting darkness flew erratically around them. One large explosion sent the man tumbling backwards. Coming to a stop he noticed both boys heading towards him. The daitō wielder on his left and the artillery wielder on his right, both seeking to impale him. He made to move upward, to make them stab each other. Noticing the smirks on their faces, he realized he forgot the girl. "Nervorum!" A pale yellow arrow shot through the middle of the mans chest. Every muscle in his body froze, refusing to listen. From either side of him the boys impaled him. Silence followed as the boys used that moment to catch their breath. Both were battered and bruised.

"So this is how it ends?" the man began, blood oozing from his mouth and where he was impaled, the bottom of his form seemingly floating away into the nothingness that was the reality. His sword fell from his hands, following the same fate as the rest of him. "It matters not. They're already here. Watch as these worlds are torn apart and made anew." The boys took their sword from out of his body, moving backwards and came to a stop. The girl shortly came up to them, stopping on the right of the daitō wielder, her condition the same as theirs.

The mans disappearing body already made it up to his chest. The demented grin returned as he looked at them. He said nothing as the rest of him disappeared, his dust flowing upward into the distance. The reality around them stopped changing at some point. Now the three stood in a vast white plain of nothing in every direction.

Our world was consumed by darkness.

Suddenly the nothingness shook. A heavy and dark pressure made itself known as they looked around. Ahead of them, an abnormally large portal of the darkest black opened.

A fairy tale turned nightmare. Legends and myths became reality.

Grim frowns showed on each of the teens faces. The daitō wielder in the middle looked to his right at the girl. She glanced at him and nodded. Looking to his left, the daitō wielder found the artillery wielder already looking at him.

What we had once before was lost in the drifting rifts. Somehow God came back to finish what they started.

Some hidden communication was exchanged between the two before the artillery wielder nodded. Looking ahead, the daitō wielder gulped. Out of the dark portal came a giant something. Its form was difficult to see as it towered over the three teens.

Now we must fight once more. We can't back down from this God and let them destroy this new world of ours.

The daitō wielder closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Snapping his eyes open he yelled a battle cry. "CHAAAAARGE!" The two others followed his example and yelled at the top of their lungs. All three blasted off at the giant, faces determined to continue their fight.

We make our last stand and fight for all the worlds sake.

The daitō wielders right eye began to glow a bright blood red. Each of them gained a different colored aura. Red on the daitō wielder, green on the artillery wielder, and pink on the girl.
Everything slowed down to a stop.

For our sake.
