Please get up. If you fall now everything will perish.
All Daniel could see was darkness. He heard screaming somewhere around him.
You need to hurry. They're already on their way to your location.
Opening his eyes, he found himself alone in the lunchroom. Tables were flipped over or broken, glass all over the place. Groaning in pain, he stood up tall, the crunch of glass under his shoes. He managed to get his bearings together and looked at the hole he made in the wall.
How the hell am I even able to stand up? I should be paralyzed or dead at this point. Daniel thought, looking to the ground for anything useful. Spotting his phone he bent over to grab it, expecting to feel his back flare up in pain. Not feeling anything, he stood up and began to make his way to the exit to his right.
Prepare yourself Chosen. A battle is about to occur.
Startled by the feminine voice speaking to him, Daniel turned around to see if anyone else was there. He was answered instead by a blast of wind hitting him. Covering his face, he was able to see three monsters land in the lunchroom through the broken frames, blocking his way out.
They were all the same in appearance, considering that one was larger than the other two. They all looked like giant black fireflies straight from a horror film. The part of them that glowed was blue instead of green, never going out. A blue liquid also fell from their mouths.
I'll assist you with getting familiar with battle for now. After this you won't hear much from me, considering I'm using most of the strength I have left. Once you're done here you must find the other two.
Daniel didn't know why he was listening to this voice but it was better than dying. These bugs were blocking the exit so he may as well stand and fight.
Summon your weapon. You only need to think about it.
Summon his weapon? How was he supposed to do that? His dream came back to him, the weapons those people had used. The daitō in particular came to the forefront of his mind. Suddenly his right hand moved on its own accord, reaching forward as if to grab something.
A bright light covered the lunchroom. The bugs backed away in fear, snarling at him. Before his hand formed a sword. The same one from my dream! Daniel thought in alarm as the glow faded. The elegant daitō he dreamt of was resting in his hand.
Knowledge of how to fight with this sword rushed through his mind, most likely thanks to the girl talking to him. Left foot slightly forward, he brought the daitō in front of him, gripping it with both hands.
Use your Aspectu skill to check their status in order to gain an advantage.
"Aspectu?" Daniel said out loud in confusion. Before his eyes names and a box of information appeared above the creatures head saying 'Stella'. Under the name was the information. It read 'Insectoid Monster. Each Stella has a different characteristic. This type is defense orientated, making it stronger to normal attacks. Like most bugs, this one is weak against Ignis and Adolebitque.'
"Alright, don't know what's going on but it's a bonus. First kill the smaller ones since the big guy would have the most health." Plan in mind. Daniel rushed forward to the closest Stella with an overhead strike. The force of his swing cut straight through the bug.
Its body disintegrated into blue particles. Its friends screeched in rage and jumped to bite at him. With newfound agility, Daniel jumped backwards from both attacks flying towards a wall behind him. Flipping so he landed feet first, he shot off the wall to the smaller Stella with a horizontal slash.
