Your POV:
I was reading the daily newspaper with a cup of warm coffee until I heard the doorbell ring. I quickly got up and ran to my front door and opened it. "Hello?" I said politely. A mailman was standing on my steps, pulling out a letter from his bag. "Hello miss. I have a letter for you." He said, handing me the letter. "Oh thank you so much! Have a great day!" I replied politely as the mailman walked away. I closed the door and went to sit down at my table and open the strange letter. I opened it carefully so I wouldn't get a paper cut, and took out the message and read it out loud.
"Dear (Y/N),
It seems like a lifetime since we worked on cartoons together. 10 years really slips away, doesn't it?
If you don't mind, please come visit the old workshop. There's something I need to show you!
Your best pal, Joey Drew"
I was a bit shocked to see that the letter was from my old boss! I decided I was going to go since I didn't have anything planned for today. I quickly finished my coffee and grabbed my coat. I fixed myself up and headed out the door for my old workshop!
