Hi. My name is Adelaide Marie Edlesteen, daughter of Jordan Edlesteen and Amanda Lane. My father is the head of the Economics department at Harvard and he even wrote a book. My mother is a retired tennis player who mainly spends time at the country club with her friends, shops, or travels with my father. Four years before I was born my parents brought a beautiful baby girl that they named Mia into the world, but sadly when she was two years old my mother once again got drunk and wasn't watching the pool at our vacation home in lake Geneva where my dad was receiving an award in Economics. But anyway since she wasn't watching the pool my older sister was walking around it and fell in. As you can probably tell she didn't make it. My mother and father were so heartbroken especially since they both knew my mother could have prevented it had she not gotten drunk. So my father sent her to rehab for 5 months and she was doing really well so he had them release her early. She did well throughout the next two years actually, but after I was born, old memories of Mia came up and that's when she started drinking again. Don't get me wrong my mother loves me but when I was a baby I just reminded her of Mia. We live in a medium sized house with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a large dining room, 2 living rooms, a garage, an attic, and a large basement. Since my parents are wealthy and well known they enrolled me into the private school that is number one in the state. And of course my story synopsis would not be complete without my cliche group of friends which consists of the crazy best friend (Brielle), the brainy best friend (Simon), the sporty best friend (Damien), the artsy best friend (Leah), and the brooding best friend (Tyler). I know what you're all thinking "when will this actually get interesting?" And the truth is, it's up to you and how your opinions feel about me and my story because frankly I think it's pretty interesting but maybe that's just me. But back to the synopsis of me and my life. I am currently still virgin and plan to stay that way until I find "The One", I love singing but I'm too shy to do it in front of people, I am a not a great cook but I love to bake, and I like decorating and renovating things. But mainly decorating. Also I have an addiction to upcycling. But yeah, that's pretty much it for my summary, so you're all up to date on my life so far, if you want to know what happens next then stay tuned for the actual start of the story.
(Author's Note: Because of my schedule I'm unsure when I'll be able to write and I plan to write up to 20 pages a chapter at the most so if I do write I will either submit what I did write and edit it to write the rest or I will just wait until I finish the full chapter. But I will publish the chapters. Also the first few chapters will most likely be short depending on what I write. The next chapter is about Atticus so just as a heads up. But I hope you guys like the story and write to y'all soon. Also I'll try to limit my author's notes.)
