It was a nice day in the summertime, I recently saw that a new zoo has opened up to the public so I decided to go. I had been waiting all year for this zoo. They said it was not like other zoos. Something like more population for the animals. The one thing that disappointed me was that they didn't have snow leopards. That was kinda a letdown. The doors didn't open till 10:00 and it was 9:50. I looked at some of the texts that my family had sent me some texts.

"Honey be home before dark

Love, Mom."

"Send me some pictures from the zoo I always love to see them

Sincerely, Dad."

After looking at the texts I decided to start heading inside of the zoo. The overall look of the zoo was really welcoming and also was organised pretty well. They had any animal you could name. From antelope to zebra. There were a lot of guards surrounding the park. I do not know why because what would you be doing to make sure there would be a lot of guards there. I walked around the park and saw a lot of animals. The ones that crept me out the most were the snakes. I shuddered as I saw them slither around. I got out of there as fast as possible. While I was rushing out of there a man came out in front of me and asked if I was alright. I said, "Yeah, those snakes in there just creeped me out and I just needed to get away from them because they creep me out too much." The man responded with "Yeah, snakes also creep me out. My name is Mike and I work here at this zoo, I work with the animals if they need something." I thought that it was cool hearing about this, so I asked for more information. "Well, I don't know if I am allowed to tell you this but we might have a new animal coming in soon." I was very confused about this so I asked him "What animal is it?" He then responded with, "Eventually, you will know." Mike then walked away. I had to use the bathroom so I went to the bathrooms near the building I was at. After I was done using the bathroom I see an empty area with all the things an animal would need. I found this interesting so I went to go see it. It was so interesting and intriguing. I stepped inside the 15-foot deep area trying to get a grip on the wall so I wouldn't fall. I hoped no one would see me but who could it was behind the areas in an area that has forest everywhere. It was cold inside the area probably because there were special things making it cold. I look around and hear the intercom go off. "Due to capacity we need to perform maintenance for the rest of the day, if you have bought a ticket today it will be valid for tomorrow also until the day following, see you next time!" I realised I could get out anywhere and I started to freak out. I screamed for help but no one heard. I realised that I was going to be here for a while and that there was definitely no animals anywhere in the area so I decided to take a nap under a rock I found. I wake up the next morning, I check my watch and it's 5:00 AM and there is no way I could fall asleep now. I tried to scream for help a second time because you could hear anything else throughout the park and it might work. No one hears me so I decided that I should probably wait a bit. Good thing I had my phone to pass the time. I open the camera to take a selfie because why not. I notice that out of my blondish brown hair that I could see around 10 silver strands of hair. I am 17 and there is no way I could be getting grey hair already. It was a strange thing to happen. I sat there and kept on screaming for help. No one replied. My throat was getting sore from screaming for help. My phone was getting low on battery. I had to find a way out. I kept screaming for help as I tried climbing out. But it was no use. I sat there helpless. There was no way I could get out. I tried and tried but failed. I looked at my hair again. There was, even more, grey hair strands than before. As I tried to get a signal the nails on my fingers looked darker than normal. "Huh must be from all the dirt in my fingernails." I said to myself. I screamed once more and heard a guy come. It was Mike! "Oh my god where have you been I've been stuck here since last night." I said screaming with all my might. He smiled. It wasn't a good smile. It was an evil smile. "No I won't, you belong down there. You'll see in a minute why you're down there.". I was infuriated. "YOU GET THE HELL OVER HERE RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME-". I was so frustrated. I got a headache from all the yelling. I sat there thinking what am I going to do. My parents are probably wondering where the hell I am. All of the sudden I started feeling itchy. My back, My arms, My legs, everywhere. I pulled my pant legs up and screamed in shock as I saw silver fur crawl up my leg. I could see my finger and toe nails grow longer and sharper and they looked like claws. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my legs and back. I felt my spine extend outward into a long big fluffy tail.The tail was silver with a leopard-like pattern on it. I suddenly fall to my knees and go on all fours. I couldn't stand back up it was like I am stuck in this position. I can see my hands and then my feet change into paws. Their big paws as well. I could feel my ears shift from the side of my head up to the top of my head in just a few seconds. My shoes felt very tight. I fumbled trying to get my shoes off but with paws like this, it's impossible.My whole body was covered in silver fur with leopard prints on it. I felt something coming out from my mouth and nose, it was a muzzle. From everything else that has happened so far, to be honest, it wasn't the most surprising thing that happened but I was still in shock from this whole experience. It was a muzzle of a snow leopard. I could feel my vocal cords changing and I tried to yell at him to help me but all that came out was roars. I struggle over to my phone which wasn't even cracked and looked into the glass which I then saw my eyes change from a sky blue to green eyes with slits. Suddenly, Mike grabs something behind his back and pulls out a dart gun. I was so curious about what it was about. He put it up to his mouth and blew and a dart came flying at me, so fast that I couldn't move out of the way. The dart hit me in the arm and it felt like the dart injected a fluid into me. I could feel the liquid flow up into my brain. At that moment when the fluid hit my brain, I suddenly started to loose old and new memories from before this whole mess. Soon enough I couldn't remember anything from before obviously it had to do something with the dart. Mike walks away and I am just on fours in shock. I hear something from the rocks that were enclosing the area and it was Mike. there was a secret door in the rocks I didn't notice before. He takes my phone and opens it (of course I don't have a password because I am too lazy to put one on my phone) he takes out the camera and takes a picture of me. He sends it to all of my family members with the text saying "Waiting at the bus stop because the bus is very late and I had to wait all night. But I did get a good picture of this snow leopard." He then takes the phone with him and leaves. He uncovers the enclosed area from the bushes that were covering it and opens it to the public. When the park opened at 10:00 AM people crowded around the new area. They loved to see me literally just do everything. I have realised that I will never get out of here and just to deal and live with it. Luckily, they don't know the truth behind me and this new place I call home.
