Pitter patter, the rain drops came,

When I watch you, my heart does the same.

My stomach's butterflies, dance to a song.

I stop and stare, would you like to know why I do?

But i'm there to help you.

These feelings surge over, as you hold my hand,

I put my arm around your shoulder, but we're nothing more than friends.

I fear that you'll reject me, so I learn to keep my distance.
