I stayed on the ground for a while, hoping my dizziness would go away. Cameron was still letting me rest on him as I tried to shake myself back to reality. I looked up at him, worry filled his face but he hid it when he realized I was looking at him.

"Skylar, can you get up now? It's almost 5 pm, we've been here a while." 5 pm, shit!

" Yeah, grab my coat please, we need to drive to the sheriff's station." I said as I got up and looked in a mirror by my office door. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and grabbed my purse.

"Sky, wha- what do you mean you have to go to the station? What happened?" He asked, grabbing my coat and following behind me.

"They think Michael and my parents were murdered. They found traced of lead poison in their bone samples."

"That makes no sense, they contracted a disease when we were in Mexico, remember? Sky, I thought you had finally moved on. Do I need to take you back to see Ian? He helped you last time."

He knew I hated seeing that dumb therapist. All he ever did was tell me it was okay to have my feelings. Dumbest thing I ever heard. "No Cameron, Ian and I have differences. All I know is that Agent McCoy has requested me to go to the station. Now are you driving or am I?" I asked, holding the keys in my hand. I desperately wanted him to drive. My head was still spinning, but I'd never let him know that. He rolled his eyes at me and snatched the keys from my hand.

The ride there was quiet. We didn't know what to expect. Cameron parked our silver Ford escape, in the front of the building and walked to the front door with me. We entered the lobby to be greeted by a receptionist. She was a brunette now but I remembered her name. "Julie! My god girl, I haven't seen you in years! How are you?" I asked.

"Skylar? What are youdoing here? Oh, I mean I'm good but you've changed so much!"

"I could say the same to you! Didn't know my favorite blondie could rock the brunette look. Then again, I did go blonde after being brunette." We laughed before Cameron cleared his throat.

"Sky, I'm sure you guys will have plenty of time to catch up later. It's 5 o'clock, we should go. Nice meeting you Julie!" He said as he took my hand and dragged me to the office we were to meet the agent in.

"Sorry Sky. I just really need to understand what's going on. You understand?" I simply nodded my head.

We waited a while before the door opened. When I saw who it was, my heart shattered.

"Sky, it's been a while hasn't it?" He said with a smirk on his face. This is impossible, he died.

Cameron looked at me confused, why wasn't he shocked? Why was he looking at me like I'm crazy?

"Ms. Sheri?" I heard my name called, why would he call me by my last name? I was supposed to have his last name. I glanced at Cameron who had now grabbed my hand, forcing me to look at him.

"Ms. Sheri? Are you alright?" I turned to see the image of Michael disappear, leaving who I believed to be Mr. McCoy. They both stared at me dumbfounded.

"Yes, I'm alright. It's nice to meet you." I said outstretching my hand to meet his. We shook hands but as he let go, my hand fell to my side: limp. I stared confused at my right arm which could no longer move. I looked at Cameron, pretending everything was fine. I needed to know what happened to my parents and fiancé.

"Well then, let me catch you both up to speed."
